The countryside was nice and the plants were singing and the birds and the sun was almost up from the bottom of the sky. The mood was set for Teresa Pyrope's quest to help the newbie LARPers where she was. Teresa Pyrope looked around the countrysides and said, "It's a good day to do what has to be done by me and help these people to have fun."

[[a grin]] It was for a cosplay last year. Grandma had to adjust the hem a bit, but it still fit! Since my other cosplay outfit is a totally different character class and I figured a healer would be need far more than a thief. And since it's a newbie campaign, I doubt they'd let me double class~

Nah, probably not, though that kind of thing is the common mental image I get when I think of larps like this.

Did you think up a neat backstory or anything like that?

Nah. I started thinking of one, but then kept wondering if it would turn out to be something related to flashbacks and figured better to just play something simple. Simple lawful good alignment who wants to do good in the world by protecting those in need.

Oh. I didn't even think to wonder about that.

Getting a pulse here would be awful.

Least you'd be in good company, right? Since it's mostly numbers crew. But yeah. Nothing kills the fun of role play like finding out that you're acting out something real.

Also, better to go with the white mage to help out the newbies, as fun as playing out Thief King Batshit would be.

Leeeeet's just say that flashback me was pretty likely chaotic neutral and went to take out a corrupt god-on-Earth and all his priests all in one good with just his own personal god-type spirit.

And lived, somehow.
