Anyone out there know how to shoot a gun? I'm asking cuz I'm getting tired of being teased with a memory of shooting one and not ever holding one. I think that I better learn before I suddenly decide I'm Clint Eastwood and try to use one and blow off my foot. I could pay for the lessons or whatever; I just wanna stop being useless.

And I don't wanna go to a public teacher of one kind or another. How would I explain anything if something hits me in the middle of a lesson, right?

Well, you do need your ID... Also, background checks are required when owning a gun, but actually using the range? Nah, you should be okay.
