Anyone out there know how to shoot a gun? I'm asking cuz I'm getting tired of being teased with a memory of shooting one and not ever holding one. I think that I better learn before I suddenly decide I'm Clint Eastwood and try to use one and blow off my foot. I could pay for the lessons or whatever; I just wanna stop being useless.

And I don't wanna go to a public teacher of one kind or another. How would I explain anything if something hits me in the middle of a lesson, right?

If you're getting memories about using guns, you'll probably get the skill sometime too, but I can at least tide you over with the basics until then.

I hope you don't mind me butting in, but this is actually something I've been trying to look into. I'm fairly certain, thanks to this pulse business, I'd be better than your average beginner, but the fact remains I haven't handled a gun in any time I directly remember. [The Tesla, as it turned out when she tested it, isn't the same thing.]

Given that I've been hesitant to try my hand at a firing range, at least by myself.

Isn't there an open range area out back around the old dump?

I can sort of fight, but I've gotten a flash about shooting at another person and I was using multiple guns. I figure if I was to wait around, I won't get the skills until it's too late. Meebe this will help jump start things and cut back on me needing someone around when I'm being stupid.

You too? Yeah, I've gotten a memory about having a gunfight with some guy and I figured that I might have the skill somewhere buried. If I can jump start it, meebe I won't be so useless.

Thing about gun ranges is the whole reregistration process too.

...I hadn't even thought of that. [Becky sighs.] Left to my own devices I wouldn't bother with a gun, but since I apparently have the skill somewhere in there and it seems it might be called for, I might as well try to foster it.

I do have another option, but a backup never hurts, especially since I don't know how many shots I'll have before I need to recharge it.

It's sort of weird the whole gun thing. I've gained some rather odd moves that I'd think won't go with a gun but the recent pulse tells me otherwise. Who know what else is buried along with it, you know?

Well, like I told the other guy, I've got time after work today. I could show both of you guys some basics.

That would be lovely. I have no objections at all to starting with basics; I'd just rather start with basics in the company of someone who won't be surprised if I'm better than your average beginner.

When am I not free?
