[it took a few days after school started (well, actually more like a week, but close enough) for Soren to finally decide to try and track down Aria like he said he would. given that he had the advantage of knowing what she looked like AND knowing what sorts of activities she did, he knew it wouldn't be too hard, but it still was a bit of an effort - after all, he wasn't the most social of kids and he would have preferred go home and mess around online than actually go outside and socialize with someone he barely knew. but he figured actually making some connection to the whole numbers conspiracy outside of the network would be a good thing, and besides, who could turn down a free soda?

so on tuesday after school, Soren made his way to the track field at school to try and find her. by "try to find her" i mean sort of standing around awkwardly watching people run and trying to spot her without standing out too much, but those are about the same thing right? yeah they pretty much are.]

No, you can't really say that. I guess I'm lucky there, most of the people from school seem to be older than me.

I'm pretty sure no one actually knows that except me so far. I mean, I have no idea how old they assume you are, actually? I've never told or asked Travis, and Karson's guesses about things are weird.

Good so far I guess? Really easy mostly, actually.

[shrug] I'm pretty used to boring. It gives me more time to do my own thing so it's okay.

...What on earth is "your own thing" in class? Do you play phone games? Or calculator tetris?

More like do my homework so I can go straight home and play games all night.

You should use the Texas eighty...whatever. You know, the graphing calculator? You can get games on that, you know. ...It's good for math class!

Yeah, you could say that. We own like, pretty much every system ever, it's pretty sweet. And computers everywhere too.
