003 - {audio}

[Have you heard this voice before? It's probably hard to tell considering how absolutely toneless her voice is as she's speaking. Or maybe that's the dead giveaway? Either way it's pretty obvious this is going to be the opposite of a long emotional monologue.]

If I were to attempt to induce one of the memories, visions, whatever they are.

What would be the most effective way? I'm not stupid enough to think there's a foolproof way to make it happen, but I'd like to know if there's something I can do to increase my chances.

[A long pause, either deliberating on what to say, or whether or not to just stop talking.]

I had my first echo well over a month ago. Nothing since then.

yeah actually

i keep slipping up and calling it that because "bleed-through from some other whacko's existence and maybe multiple whackos" is too long

in any case don't get me wrong -- i don't think whoever the person, or people, whose memories & powers im getting are me

because that'd be fucking stupid

current theory is that whatever the enemy is doing is causing a breach in reality that's causing bleed-through from other people's lives and that it's pretty random but that we might have resonance with particular people, which is why it's all different. that's why the enemy causes it. emotional stuff that parallels that other person's life makes the bond stronger

idk for sure tho
