A little, yeah. I was just minding my own business browsing the damn Gdoc and all of a sudden remembering shit that never happened to me.

I received that echo when we spoke for the first time.

Ugh just thinking about it makes my blood boil. Ive never felt so second-handedly frustrated in my whole life!

Let me see if i can pen down what i remember ive done a very good job of just trying to forget the whole debacle.

It was some sort of chat client. I was typing in a color similar to this. The AI was typing in orange.

We were arguing i think about the AIs ability to understand emotion and i ...also think the AI may have been trying to pretend it was someone else?

Who do you think it might have been pretending to be?

The memory isn't very clear and the snippet i got was terribly out of context but i think it may have been someone who went by "DS" or "Strider". Not very descriptive names im afraid.

...yeah, not ringing any bells. Isn't Strider the guy who runs that clinic?

Nah, man, this one was way more advanced. If the thing hadn't explicitly said it was an AI, I wouldn't have been able to guess.

i mean i'm a compsci guy so i know how fuck weird and far-off the whole 'true' AI thing is. but still.
that's definitely a trickier bit. don't think i've hit anything like that in my... echoes, pulses, whatever we're calling them.

I mean, it was just a snippet of a conversation, so I can't really say for sure. But it sure sounded like it. Definitely wasn't anything programmable with current technology.

Okay, there is definitely a connection here. I remember typing in orange text while talking with the AI that I supposedly programmed. I mean, not "I" I, but the person whose memory it was. Shit, this is confusing.
