[There are sounds of movement in the room: someone walking, sitting, then scooting their chair forward; followed by a single note played on piano.

After a momentary pause, that someone begins to play a piece on that piano, quite skillfully. He makes a contented sigh after he finishes.]

Shinji may arrive at said park to see Kaworu sitting on a bench down a somewhat busy path. He sticks out in the crowd, for obvious reasons.]

[Shinji's nervous, of course, and kind of wondering why the hell he even agreed to meet this strange guy but really it's not everyday that someone takes this much interest in him of all people, and...he really, really wants that.

When he notices Kaworu, he just kind of...stops and stares at him for a second. He's probably going to have to notice Shinji and say something to him for him to do any different.]

[Luckily, he does, and waves at Shinji excitedly.]

There you are, Shinji! Why don't you sit next to me?

[Kaworu turns to Shinji and smiles.] I figured if we're going to be friends, we should get to know each other better. Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? We can stay here or we can walk around the park...

Well, um, my mom does stuff when she's home but...she works a lot.

And dad's overseas right now, so it's usually just Rei and I around the house. It's really not that big of a deal...

Ah, I see. Don't downplay your accomplishments, though. You deserve praise for your work, even if you don't think it's much. As for me...my mother doesn't work, so she's usually home and busies herself with cooking and cleaning. I often feel quite guilty that I don't do much to help my family, but I try to take some of her chores for myself when she lets me. I feel bad admitting that... [sigh.] I must admit I'm pretty spoiled.
