general clinic log
Who: Drs. Solus or Strider, various patients.
What: Echo checkups
When: Whenever
Where: LSR clinic
The LSR clinic, despite its run-down, beat-up appearance, is actually fairly clean on the inside. Lit by white fluorescent lights, it's generally pretty empty, with the occasional non-network patient coming in to get something looked at. A volunteer is usually found running the front desk, organizing papers and responding to phone calls, while Dr. Solus and Dr. Strider take care of the actual medical business.
The waiting room is barebones compared to other clinics and medical practices - LSR doesn't have the money to get entertainments for the waiting patients, so all that's available are a few chairs.
When it's your turn for an appointment, whoever's at the desk will direct you down a hallway to the left, and you will meet one of the doctors.
[ooc: general clinic log! all checkups for crazy echoes can take place here. specify dr. solus or dr. strider in the subject line.]

evening of 8/21
[and thank god Ravi told her he'd be volunteering tonight. because already knowing someone working at this not-all-that-strange place that she just walked into will make the whole process way easier.]

Eventually, he sticks his head into the ramshackle building, grateful for the lights as it means he doesn't need to take off his shades right away.]

For Doctor Solus~
later in the afternoon- she'd gotten the early shift, so she didn't have to worry about being at the library until evening- she arrived, some fifteen minutes before her appointment. she wasn't entirely sure she trusted her scooter outside, but there wasn't much to be done about it. helmet in her lap, book in hand, she announced herself to the desk worker and then sat down to wait, cracking open her book to pass the time ]

Afternoon 10/06
She opts not to sit in a chair, instead leaning against a wall and reading a book on her tablet. She has just reached the end, where the Queen chooses death rather than allowing a vampire noble to rule her kingdom by keeping her prisoner, but stops before she finishes the last few paragraphs. These sorts of books are hard to enjoy now, possible chupacabra or not. ]

11/1 noonish, dr. solus
when his turn is announced, he stands and walks with the energy of someone's who trying to keep a lid on it.
in the privacy of the examination room, alex presents the gloves. they're in a gallon ziplock bag. ]
Some of the network kids got attacked by dogs when they were trick-or-treating last night. This is from Toushirou. Some of their blood's on it-- the dogs.

12/08 at around 9 am, either doctor!
Long intro short, a 17 year old kid limping to the door with an arm around his ribs, a puffy bottom lip, and purpling left eye is going to attempt to open the door. Wait, is the clinic even open this early in the morning? Shit. He is going to be so fucking pissed if he dies because he bled to death on the inside or something.
He puts his free hand on the doorknob and tries to get it open. Nope, locked. Shit. He shuffles a little to the side and slides onto his butt, slouching against the wall. Nothing to do but wait and hope he doesn't die in the process. He huffs a little, trying not to fall asleep. ]
This is what passing looks like?
[ Whenever whichever doctor opens gets there, Skyler will be in the same spot, shivering a little and trying his level best not to doze off. He's failed several times up until that point, but not for lack of trying. ]

He feels small and weak in every way, but he had told Phillip he would be fine so he would be fine. He just needed to find the doctor, and find a way home after that.]

12/20, 5:30pm-ish, Dr. Strider WITH GUEST STAR RAVI
Danny stumbles into the clinic with his arm (covered in badly tied bandages) pressed tightly to his chest. His sweater is soaked from the blood ('blood'?) and is starting to glow a faint green now, in contrast to his sweaty pallid face. He's about to shout for someone, but then notices there's a waiting room, so instead he just takes a seat and waits his turn.
(That's what you do when you're suddenly missing half your arm, right???)

12/22 w/ Ravi
Still, he's obviously nervous when he enters the clinic, keeping his head down, his eyes locked on some unimportant part of the floor. He stammers out something about meeting someone and promptly drops himself into a chair, letting his face fall into his hands. At least this way, he won't have to worry about anyone seeing it.
He's early, and his shoulders are going to pay for it if he keeps them this tense, but so long as he is here and he has a chance to at least get some help, he doesn't care. He is in desperate need of it and excuse him while he hides away until Ravi isn't busy or something.]

...and tries not to feel at all concerned about what Ravi might find, but he isn't all that successful. He's being fairly flippant about it with all but a few people, but the fact is that Nick is worried. About what they've done to him, what side effects there might be, and how it might come to bite him in the ass.]

hmm let's say 1/11?
The appointment had been made a few days ago and this was the earliest he could come. Now Karl just waits for his turn to be called in, browsing through some old issue of Time magazine (it was either that or a gossip magazine and not even on dessert island would he willing pick one of those up).]
