20th Howl [Audio | Monday Evening]

This is Randall Lyall again, finally back in town. After a nice, long drive back from the airport, after sitting in the plane for an hour and a half after landing because of some kind of safety issue.

[Somebody sounds tired. Probably because somebody is. He even starts to speak, is interrupted by a yawn, and has to start again.]

Sorry. Did I miss anything important? Is the water safe to drink yet, or should I stick to pop or bottled or something?

Good to know, thank you. I'll have a good sniff before I drink anything, and stick to things out of bottles when I can, then. I'm not the least bit interested in getting arrested for laughing too much.

Wait, the contaminated water has a smell to it?

Only to me, I'm afraid. One of the changes all this has brought about for me is an incredibly heightened sense of smell, among other things.

Heightened sense of smell? That can happen? Dude that sucks.

Just out of, you know ideal curiosity, what does it smell like?

It doesn't bother me anymore, really, I've gotten used to it. Though it did take me a few weeks to start sorting everything out and not being confused by it all.

It smells a bit acidic and a little dark. Kind of like cleaner, but purpler. It smells like those statues in the art exhibit, if you were around for those. And it smells like those little black bug fluffs that have been about possessing animals. I don't have a very precise means of describing scent, I'm afraid :(
