[For once, Bertholdt is outside of his apartment. This is a very strange thing, considering he's always closed up inside away from everyone. Despite his shyness, even shut ins have to get groceries and Bertholdt had decided to take his work with him, stopping to sit in the park before he heads home. It's not too hot out, which means he won't overheat, around five o'clock in the evening. It's getting a little cooler out generally now anyway.]

[He can be seen sitting on a bench in the park with a thick manuscript in his hands, checking through each page slowly. After a while he'll pause in his work to light a cigarette and relax back against the bench. For anyone who's only known Bertholdt over the Network, it might be alarming to find out that he's 6'5". While he's sitting down, it's apparent that he's really tall regardless.]

[He's not a big talker, but maybe he'll appreciate some company?]

[It happened so suddenly, that Bertholdt hadn't had time to react to it. He just stares down at Ryan a moment--]

[ Ryan smiles. He really is grateful for this-- for just being there and listening and taking his mind off the bad stuff. Gosh, what a guy. Ryan feels like quite the lucky guy. ]

Have a safe trip home, okay? I'd walk you, but the station's the opposite way. [ He's assuming of course, but not many people live right in the center of the city. ]

[ Ryan squeezes back, reluctant to let go... ]

[It's his turn to be bold! But when he leans down to kiss Ryan he just manages to bump their noses together painfully.]

[ Aw that's like, the cutest thing. Ryan mutters a quick 'ow' and then starts laughing. ]

Ah well, nice try.

[ He's not even joking, that was adorable. You're so tall, Bertl. ]

[ And Ryan kisses him right back, something soft and sweet before he's stepping back. He figures it's a good idea to take it slow, given they're both running some weird past-live vibes. Don't wanna rush in to things... Even if that seems like a totally attractive idea. ]
