[Oh hey, Thomas is still around and, oh lord is he on the network out in public?]

Hello everyone. I was feeling a bit under the weather these last few weeks, but I could never leave you all waiting. So yes, I am perfectly fine and back to my people.

[To anyone paying attention, they'd realize that he's in the park near Candy's bakery. They would also notice that Thomas' hair might have gotten lighter? It looks like there's one or two blonde hairs sticking out of his hair. Must be a trick of the light of a bit of gold streamer or something.]

Now don't worry, I typed my number into Skype so this ought to seem nice and normal to anyone not in our club sneaking a peek. So tell me everyone, how are all of you amid our little group's usual chaos?

[From the quiet hissing and echoey tone to her voice, it's clear Candy has ducked into the bathroom to hide and respond.]

Uh! Thomas! Should you really be talking to the network while out in public? What if a cop sees you!

Ah such concern. Don't you worry, I'll be fine. As if I would be caught so unawares.

[Yes he totally would be.]

That reminds me, aren't I near your bakery? Recovered from that deer yet?

Uh--yeah, I'm fine, cleaned everything up, but--seriously, you really shouldn't be out in public talking about this stuff! The cops are seriously going to try and kill you if they see you! Here, just--yeah, I recognize that building behind you, just come to my cafe, at least then you're not yelling about all this in public...

[Thomas had apparently been on a park bench since it's in the background as he walks toward the bakery. He hasn't stopped talking into the phone though. It's mostly just idle commentary before he walks into the bakery with the most smug look he can seemingly manage.]

[She makes sure to ask Sandra for a break while he's on his way, muting her phone for good measure. Oh God why does he keep talking what's wrong with him? He seemed nice and reasonable and chipper the times she's talked to him before, but now he just seems reckless and kind of crazy.]

[As soon as he comes in and is still talking, she grabs him--not hard, just firmly--and tugs him to a corner table where there's no one around.]

So...okay, what were we talking about? And--keep your voice down!

[Thomas sighs and dusts off where she grabbed him as he moves to sit down.]

The last time we spoke, it was about memories that weren't yours. While I was on my way here it was about how I had made an amazing discovery about a member of our network thanks to memories I've been gaining that aren't mine.

I know I'm amazing, but the pulling and grabbing was a bit much.

[She huffs.] Well, I'm sorry I grabbed you, but I already got attacked by a deer infested with aliens, so I'd rather not also have evil cops knocking the windows down.

Apparently the police are monitoring everyone from suspicious behavior. Mutant animals are also an occurrence now.

Ah more of those things then? Well, I fought off those creatures in the mines well enough, I should have no trouble with some animals or police.

Yes. A lot of us got trapped in a cave about a month ago that was filled with these demonic looking bat things.

Oh and thank you for the concern, but I'm fine. Although, knowing that it looks like I'm talking to a blank skype screen, I think I'll just switch off the camera and pretend I'm making a call.

And yes, that's probably for the best. But tell me more about the bats. Or demon bats. I like to be prepared.

Oh it's exactly what you'd expect. They were pitch black, big bright red eyes, and teeth that looked as sharp as my wit.

Then there were also the giant hair monster things, but I'm hoping those weren't mutated from anything.
