If this is someone's idea of a silly little prank, then I'll have you know that it's not very funny. If you're going to laugh at me, at the very least laugh at me for something that makes a little more sense!

[Suddenly there's an odd collection of noises, as Sandra nearly drops her phone in shock]

You - you have a craving for blood?!

[He laughs.] Oh no, that's my... artist name at my job.

[Oh god help him not roll his eyes and groan loudly.] Yes, I do, but no, of course I ain't gonna hurt anyone. It's just another of those weird things, nothing dangerous. It's a bit like... you know, having a craving for chocolate? You really want it, but you know that it ain't like you need to have it?

Oh. Oh I see. I thought maybe...

Oh no, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to imply that you would hurt anyone, I'm sure you never would...I was just...well, surprised. [she giggles, nervously] It's almost like something out of one of those awful books. I hope you're not going to start sparkling next!

Hey, ever heard of a stripper called "Fenn"? The name doesn't exactly sell.

[He laughs, relaxed now.] Sorry, didn't mean to go jumping down your throat. And sugar, I've sparkled for way longer than I've ever felt a need for a really disgusting snack.

Oh! You're a...[Sandra feels very glad that this is only recording her voice, as she's blushing furiously now. She coughs nervously] Well, ah, Fenn is a nice name, I'm sure it would sell well enough...

[she recovers from her nervous bout thought, and speaks firmly] Please, no endearments. I don't care for them.

Fenn means "bog" or "mire", honey. Fay has a bit more flair. And it also stops people I don't want to find me from... well, finding me.

[That pulls an amused little sound from him.]

Sorry, sw- Sorry. It's a southern thing. Taking after my mama.

But you'd make such attractive, sparkly bog! [And why yes, you can hear in her voice that she's laughing at you, Fay]

I understand, I'd just appreciate it if you call me something else. If you must...well... [Sandra pauses for a moment, hesitant] ...well, I suppose it can't hurt to give people a name that just popped into my head out of nowhere.

[she pauses again]

You may call me Sandry. Short for Sandrilene, but I think I like Sandry more.

Don't worry, I ain't gonna be calling anyone anything that makes 'em uncomfortable. Sandry it is. See, now we've both got a nickname.

Oh, but I was so looking forward to visiting the sparkly bog! I thought it might make a nice destination for my next holiday.

[And how strange it is that being called Sandry out loud feels so right] Or we've both got secret code names!

Oh my god, girl, I ain't even sure what "visiting the sparkly bog" sounds like an euphemism for, but it ain't painting a pretty picture.

[Which in a sense is why he's starting to use 'Fay' more and more. It just feels so natural.] And that's good. Moot, in my case, since I've already got my full name here and it looks like you can't delete anything. So don't put anything at all here that you might wanna take down later.

Well, it's a bit too late. But considering they had Jack prisoner, he told 'em about the network, and they even took the phone he's been using on here...

Well, maybe we're safe for now. But we should be careful nonetheless.

But they need a number, don't they? And we don't even know how these numbers work. Maybe we're the only ones that can use them.

Exactly. And I ain't so sure that if you don't have your own number, so to say, that you can actually get to the network. That don't seem to be how it works.

We really should find out. I've been talking to someone - well, I'm afraid I don't have a name for them, but I think we may try and see if one of us can get on using someone else's number. Perhaps that at least will help us understand a little more.

Well, I know what happens if we use someone else's number. If you do, you sort of contact them privately instead of on the general network.

Isn't that only after you've already logged on? Would should find out what happens if you try to get on in the first place with someone's number.

I ain't so sure. I punched the number of a... friend into my phone, and it ended up calling him. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Could you see anyone else's posts? That's what we need to find out. We need to see if anyone other that us can use the numbers to get onto this network. But if each number's tied to just one individual...

Nope! Not anyone's at all. It just called him up, and I bet if he didn't have a phone near, it would have found another way. [A pause.] I'm still wondering if anyone outside us can actually see the network. I mean, Paul Ben was connected to it when he died, so the people who killed him should have seen it on the wall, but... they didn't?

Then maybe no one else can see this! I'll have to try it myself with something else - maybe a computer. But if we can prove that only we can use our own numbers...well, then that means the network is safe, doesn't it? We wouldn't have to be so afraid of people finding it.
