Well, back when I first got a number and didn't know much I told her about the network, she didn't think much about it because work. And I've had a bunch of weird things happen, I had to get rushed to the clinic when I couldn't breathe... So she knew something was up.

Pretty much. People in the numbers club like you and me, things keep happening to us. They're called different things, extras, pulses, echoes. They give you weird powers, or objects, or new memories. Or mutations!

Sometimes I pass through things. Walls, the floor, my locker, whatever I'm holding...I just go right through it like it's not even there.

It sounds really cool, but I can't control it at all, so it mostly just gets me into trouble.

Not really. I can feel it when it's happening, but I can't actually stop it.

I think if I try really, really hard I might be able to do it on purpose, but I'm afraid of getting my arm stuck in a wall and I won't be able to get it out.

Hmm. You could try it with cloth maybe! A little easier to remove if it comes to that. Worst comes to worst, you'd be able to come to the clinic and we could get it out for you.
