[ she's used the marker from her dry erase board to write her numbers on the surface of a very large mirror, leaning against the wall of her bedroom, right across the foot of her bed. a few wayward clothes hang on one of the mirror's edges. it's evening, and the only source of light comes from a lamp on the bedstand, casting a warm glow on the room.

sonya herself is sitting on the floor in front of the mirror, cross-legged, in an oversized sleeping shirt. her long, brown hair has been tamed in a braid dangling over her shoulder. there's an open notepad and a pen resting beside her. the 'video' begins as soon as she finishes writing the last number, so it shows her leaning back, then laying her arm on her thigh. ]

Good evening. New addition, so on and so forth. I've read the guide.

As there are several four-legged friends among us, I'd like to introduce myself. Dr. Wood of Locke City Veterinary Clinic. Perhaps I've met some of you already?

[ those who have and remember the sound of her voice may find it odd. there's an accent to it, a certain roughness, that has never been there before. ]

[ oh, being able to recall the names and faces of patients among a sea of them she sees all the time is definitely naive, but extremely common. she tilts her head with a small smile, rolling with it. ]

Ah, yes. Gloria, how are you? [ she reaches forward to touch the mirror with her fingertips as if to say hello. she looks at phillip. ] And your name?

[Yea this is boring, Gloria's wandering off now. The boy is happy to talk, though.] I'm Phillip! It's nice to meet you.

[ she notices the interest and chooses to wait for him to express it rather than try and guess. ]

[At least, he assumes college students bringing full litters by isn't quite as common as to happen every day.]

Alas. Were we not of varied ages, there would be a simple way to remedy that.

[ she chuckles at his sigh. ]

Yes, likely. How old is he?

[ Yeah that's all he's got, considering. Though FAQs weren't the most enthusiastic of welcomes. ]

[ she props her elbow on her thigh and her chin in her palm, brow quirked. ]

I suppose that would depend on how many pet parents we have here. If I do it for one, I ought to do it for all. That may be too much.

It's nice to know that we have e veterinarian on board. I'd like to ask, though... has it been safe for you, considering what's going on in the city?

[ While Morgan has no pets of her own, she's had some odd encounters with some strays before. Might be good to get tips on how to deal with those and possibly more. ]
