Show and Tell
Who: Anyone who could see this post, or who was told about it by someone who could see it.
What: Buncha reincarnated people with amazing talents show off their stuff in the woods.
Where: The woods behind Marisa's house.
When: The middle of the night
Warning: underage drinking references
Behind the Kirisame residence, there was about 3 square miles of damp forest that were undeveloped for reasons that had to do with Locke City's supply of drinking water. It is filled with mushrooms, mud patches, creepy trees that look like monsters when silhouetted by the moon, and birds that call out unexpectedly. In other words it's creepy as hell, and not a terribly enticing vacation spot. In the middle of that was a particularly large tree that was visible from all over, especially when it's dark and someone has set up a campfire at the base of it and supplied detailed directions on how to get there.
Marisa has done exactly this, and is sitting on top of an ice chest next to a little fire pit she put together at a large, dry area around the bottom of the tree. The cooler contained some sodas and juice and the like, but it also contained a six pack of beer and a bottle of rum. It was about time for people to show up, assuming anyone had listened to her.
And why wouldn't they? She knew it was a cool idea!
[[After a few people have shown up, I'll start a thread of Marisa getting shit started, and then everyone who wants to show off their powers can start their own subthread within that. Even after this point more people are free to continue starting their own threads of whatever. This is sort of a mingle post as well as a tactical meeting.]]

Pardon him, he has issues.
There was a note of something bordering anger in his tone that he tried to reel back the moment he noticed it, turning away and crossing his arms in a sulk. Stupid idiot being willing to show off something like that...if he didn't heal from it, he was just going to put himself at a disadvantage later when he started out with reduced hit points! And then what if he died because of it?!
The hit points simply dummy themselves back in, Bakura! ...Out of MAGIC. 8|
The indignation, in spite of anything, was weak.
Thick, weak, and fleeting sigh through the nose. He let his shoulders slacken, the sword drop to his side, and - following an "If - you insist" - disengaged the subject.
Another impasse between the honor and pointlessness of concern.
He paused to detach it from his voice to a well-needed subject change - " -- Are you going to be 'summoning'?"
It came stumbling out with an abrupt injection of brightness in curiosity - it was a fascinating thought with no image and, as it struck him, the very first time since over a month demonstration of such a thing had been a prospect, where he could see it - display was, again, just what they had come here for.
He might buy that explanation :D
Likely because he bad been waaay too distracted by actually having summoned Diabound for the first time.
Don't ask it to occur to the one on whom the terminology is lost!
"Is it -- easy enough - to do?"
Also, feel free to hop over to where Diabound was summoned, since I finally replied there :D
I certainly shall within the evening~
Exerting one's mind was one thing - the very notion of exerting something of one's soul was as fantastic as the entire picture of the abilities Bakura's pulses granted.
