So I'm going to be going on a trip to see my cousins soon and I was thinking that there has to be some way to get around that whole "forgetting every important thing" BS. So I've been writing out pretty intense notes, writing down everything I don't want to forget and going to bring that with me so I'll at least have that, and I want some of you guys to keep in touch. I'll be in Japan so texting is kinda iffy, but I'll be checking my mail a bunch, so you guys can just text me though that.

Because seriously, just my luck to have to leave for a week right when we get the main quest, right?

How you making out? Were you at that chaos the other day? There were so many people, it was pretty hard to tell who was there and who wasn't.

About as well as anybody else who was there is, I think. I managed to get out with just a few bruises and scrapes though. Still kinda sore.

Not surprised at that. I think even poor Mr. Lyall wound up with those and he mostly hid and ran. Totally out of his depth, poor guy.

I'm glad he made it out okay. Or, well, that everyone got out at all, one way or another. There were a lot of people like that.

Yeah. Thankfully I managed to do all right. The bats were just big enough that I could actually punch them pretty easily.

Texting just uses my thumbs, so it's all good. Biggest casualty is my hoodie. Took most the blows for me.

It was actually the thrift store one I got to be more ninja for the statute bashing party.

Though I was kinda fond of it. Most my stuff is blues and the red felt kinda nice for a change. Have to get a new one for next time there's an "adventure"

A red ninja? Somehow I guess if anyone could pull it off... maybe this was just telling me it was finally time to get a new jacket. Mine was pretty old.

When's your trip?

And it's Friday. Evening flight which means we'll be stuck in the airport all morning.

Shopping for myself gets boring after a while though. I think I like shopping for other people better.

And that sounds rough. Airport arcades aren't even any good, usually. But at least there's wi-fi.

I only like shopping when it's for games. Or souvenirs. I think I already know what I wanna get Mr. Lyall ;)

The wifi is crap there too. But this doesn't need signal to work, so I might see how far it lasts. After that, it's all video games~

I like getting gifts for people! Friends, or my mom, and stuff like that. But I'd rather know what people like than they dislike so

it could be something that's natural? What are you going to get him?

...That's right. I wonder how long you'll have access for after the plane takes off.

That and I don't know what specific thing I'm gonna get him, just what i'm going to look for.

Well it's easier to pick out something when you know a bunch of stuff that interests someone, I think. Isn't it?

Looking at it that way, it's gotta be good, whatever you're thinking of...but ok, go for it! I want to see too. Just how far it goes.

Well, yeah, that's pretty obvious. Though sometimes you don't need to know too much about someone to come up with something good. Most people have that one thing that's really obvious that they like. Though I'm not sure what your one thing is yet.

Hell, most of everyone on here that'd be kinda hard for, wouldn't it? So much for that idea!

So I'll text you or something as we're getting ready to leave and start drawing or something. Can time it that way.

I'm not sure I even know what my one thing is! But that's got to be everyone here, you're right. Probably because not a lot of us know what's going on with who we are...
