Holy shit. This is not a hallucination anymore, this is some REAL SERIOUS SHIT! That kid is dead! And we can't even trust anyone or do anything to help.

Those animals... How have they not made the news yet? Is the media in on this too?

About five of those freaky things broke in here earlier and wrecked some of my stuff before I could chase them off. They started to turn on me when I tried. They are turning vicious. They are starting to attack people and after what's just happened I think we need to be the ones to do something about it.

I don't know what, but they are just small animals. They all ran off when I chased them out of here after a bit. Should we go after them? It just seems wrong.

This is all so messed up.

I have attempted chasing down those animals. As soon as you catch one, they become normal again. Then some very small creatures that look like tiny black humans with fur come out. They are rather harder to catch.

Even if we hunt the animals, they can't tell us anything. Even the small creatures who cause the mutations do not talk. We need to find out more about what those men said. This snake, their plans, where they were holding Paul. I'm going to see if I can get closer to any of them, first.

That boy was my student. I do not give a shit if it is dangerous. If you want to chase down helpless animals that will tell you nothing, be my guest.

I'm not trying to stop you. I want to help if I can. I'm just concerned that you maybe are not thinking things through. More dead people helps no one.

I am thinking, I assure you. I am not planning on confronting anyone at this point. There needs to be reconnaissance first. I merely want to put myself into the same room as one of them, for now. I have an enhanced sense of smell, like a dog or a hyena or stronger, and I want to see if I can pick up any smell like what comes off of those animals on them.

Also, if I can get a scent and memorize it, I can perhaps track them to see where they go.

If you have any suggestions for how I might get close to any of these named individuals, I am quite willing to take advice.
