[So it rained today. Killian happened to be out during the rain, heading home from the bus stop, and he found something.

That something is a two month old Maine Coon kitten. She's on Killian's laptop and pawing at the screen during most of this post and he just keeps picking her up and moving her off]

So would you believe there's no decent video of "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" on YouTube? I was going to post one to celebrate Sherman's arrest. Oh well, either way.

[The kitten, bored of poking at the laptop, is now trying to climb on Killian. Again, he just keeps picking her up and putting her to the side]

And I picked up a stray cat today. I've already talked to my uncle so I'm keeping her, I know the basics of cat care so no one jump my ass for it, we've got a vet and I'm pretty sure I can afford cat food and stuff, but...anyone have any tips to keep her from attacking every little thing? And can anyone tell me what breed she is? I'm going to the vet tomorrow but I dunno if she'll be able to tell me or anything.

She's very cute! Perhaps try buying her some more toys and playing so she's not as tempted to attack everything else?

But are there any toys a dog won't steal? We've got two monster dogs here already.

Oh my! Well, you could try toys with catnip? I'm afraid I'm not any expert though.

Catnip might do it, but I don't want a stoner for a cat either. Though that would be pretty funny.

It has different effects on different cats, so you never know! And maybe one day the dogs and kitty may be playmates?

Assuming they don't squish her. We're talking a Newfie and a Leonberger.

You must have your hands full with two huge dogs like that. But kitties are surprisingly fast, I don't think she'll let herself be squished so easy.

I'm usually too busy trying not to get squished myself to really do much with the dogs. They're like my size. Literally, they're like my size.

[He looks down at the kitten]

I hope she's fast.

I'm sure she's descended of fast wild cats who sped along to catch prey, it's in her blood.

[The kitten, in response, tries to catch her own tail and fails. Killian just looks at her, smirking]

Not sure she's a hunter type.

[She laughs at that, shaking her head.] Or perhaps not then, but she's still so precious.

And I think she knows it, too. Be as cute as possible so I can't take her to the shelter and then bam, attack all the things. Including my feet.

Such a sneaky little one! It's a talent all kitties have to wiggle their way into your heart.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm whipped here.

[He laughs, though. It's adorable]

Does your new lady have a name yet? [She teases with a light laugh, amused.]

[He looks at her for a little bit, trying to figure out what to name before nodding]

Tuala, I think. S'Irish. I have a cousin who's middle name is Tuala.

That is a pretty name! Do you know what it means?

Princess or something like that, I don't remember exactly. I think it fits.

I have to agree with you there, I'm sure she's in good hands then.
