I don't understand how this thing works. I've never used any type of software before that should let you connect to a network just through typing in a series of numbers, but here we are. From my standpoint I have to assume this is some kind of Deep Web interface, which is a little worrying.

Either way, are you sure you want me in your secret club? If you have this type of program you probably don't need another person with my skillset. The best I can offer you is a book club. Is this a book club, maybe? Since I seem to have gotten the numbers from a book? Probably not, but since there's no real rhyme or reason to what I'm supposed to be saying, I'll act on the hypothesis that it is.

I recently read a book called Hyperion. It was a sci-fi epic, very classic military procedural type thing in space. The science was detailed, though I noticed some immediate flaws in how they portrayed their ships operating, and it was subjectively a good book. I wish it had had more romance, though- has anyone read Malchior? That book knows how to mix a deep, rich world with romance and was really just incredible to read. As an individual I can't remember a book I enjoyed more and I still pick it up every now and then.

If anyone wants to borrow Hyperion I'd be happy to lend it- most of my friends have it already, so I would be happy to let someone else read it now that I'm finished. Please read it quickly, though, I may want to read through it again.

Am I doing this right? I feel like I did the first time I used a computer again since I don't know the point of this. Maybe I just bored every last one of you with my book reviews. It's like an anthropology experiment or something; maybe I should have just observed for a bit instead... |

I never seem to have the time to read, but I've been thinking about getting some audiobooks! Do you think that would work just as well?

The stories are the same, but I feel different reading words than hearing it. It seems to be more permanent.

But if the choice is audio or nothing, it's a fair trade.

You really should. It's a good story, with lots of romance and drama.

Hyperion is a little dry, but it's good despite itself.
