[It's not often that Toushirou uses video on the network, but as he's locked this to people who already know him, he feels secure enough to do it. While he might not have bothered locking a post normally, there were certain people -- like Octavia for example -- he doesn't want to risk dealing with anymore right now. He looks a little worn out, but not much worse for the wear. That's actually part of the reason for using video; so the others can see that he's all right.]

Okay, role call. All you guys still in one piece after all the hell that went on last night?

[Yeah, that's the post. Talkative, the kid ain't.]


[[OOC: Basically, if your character and Toushirou know each other well enough and trust each other enough that it's reasonable they've exchanged network numbers, it's probably okay to assume they're one of the people he's contacting.]]

I'm fine. I was at home all night. Mostly wishing I could eat candy, since I didn't get many trick-or-treaters. I'm guessing something happened....

[Because he isn't touching Octavia's little temper-tantrum with a twelve foot pole. Toushirou is probably going to be easier to deal with.]

[Probably smart not to touch Octavia's temper tantrum. It's certainly left Toushirou wanting to punch things.]

Something apparently gate-crashed a Halloween party one of us had and they needed to fight it off. I wasn't there, but me and a couple of the other kids got attacked by some red-eyed dogs.

[He blinks for a second as something registers for the first time.] ... Did a pulse do that?

[professorwolf]

Did a pulse do what?

[It takes him a second, distracted by the idea of people being attacked, but then he realizes:]

Oh, the accent. Yes, I assume so. It was simply there when I came back from visiting my parents again.

[He sounds a bit annoyed by it, honestly, but in a resigned kind of manner.]

I guess that isn't any weirder than anything else.

And here I've had a few people tell me it was weirder than anything else that had happened yet.

[But that's really not all that important, so he moves on.]

Are you all right? After the encounter with the dogs?

[He'll have to see who was at that party, and make sure everyone's all right....]

People get entire languages, and somehow just getting an accent is weird? [Yeah, that doesn't compute.]

Yeah, I'm all right.

People turn into wolves and giant bugs, and the accent is weird.

[He can only sort of understand it. Sort of. Mostly.]

I'm glad. Have you heard from many at the party yet?

[Then he's doing better than Toushirou. Of all the things going on, the accent is pretty freaking normal in comparison.]

Mostly just seen the ones that were there telling off that damn idiot in her post. Doesn't sound like anyone I contacted on this one was there, so far.

[It's the little things that bother people the most, sometimes.]

It sounds as if there were quite a few there. I'm glad I wasn't one of them. I'm sure I'll hear about it Monday after school, from those who were.

[He'd only have gotten in the way, most likely.]

Are the cops still all over the school or have they let up?

Oh, they're still about. And making me feel particularly uncomfortable. They left the club alone, this week, but I'm seriously considering not having it next week. I don't want to draw attention to anyone.

[He is reluctant to close it down, knowing it's some people's only way to connect face to face, but potential danger is a problem.]
