This is Randall Lyall again, finally back in town. After a nice, long drive back from the airport, after sitting in the plane for an hour and a half after landing because of some kind of safety issue.

[Somebody sounds tired. Probably because somebody is. He even starts to speak, is interrupted by a yawn, and has to start again.]

Sorry. Did I miss anything important? Is the water safe to drink yet, or should I stick to pop or bottled or something?

The Sage was apparently lying as I told you people

Also, they're building military aircraft. I did my best to fritz them but it was just some subtle programming glitches and miswiring, nothing they can't fix once ID'd.

I thought we knew that already. But good to know about the aircraft. That's definitely disturbing. Makes one think they really are prepping for some kind of invasion.

Where were these aircraft?

Factory, about an hour or two outside the city (depending on traffic). Still within the radius of where we know stuff, obviously.

It's pretty heavily locked down though, as you might imagine. Lots of security checkpoints even before you get to the building.

They're dumping something into the reservoir. Nasty looking pink stuff.

One of their drivers probably decided to take an early retirement, and one of the trucks they were using to do it has suffered a bit of damage. No reason to think they don't have more.

They might well have more. Has anyone gotten any kind of long-term surveillance on the area?

You know, I'm not sure. I was too wound up after we got back from making that discovery to care. Wouldn't surprise me if anyone did.

[Because realizing he's legitimately strong enough to tear the door off of a van was kind of freaky...]

Life has gotten strange enough that I didn't bat an eye when you did.

Good. Uneventful, considering I forgot all about all the excitement here. So I wasn't even worried about anyone.

[Even though he knew that this would be the case going in, he still sounds like he thinks this is some kind of failing on his part.]

It probably won't be very exciting. I went to Iowa, like I do every summer and every Christmas, to visit my family. The only really exciting bit was coming back and suddenly remembering everything that happened, and having to pull over to re-assimilate it all.

Unless you think plane delays are interesting, I suppose.

Here and there there's a place where the water's still fine. idk if that's new or not. Not all taps lead to the reservoir, so that makes sense! but yeah on default don't trust it.
