My name is Strider. I run a small clinic just south of the Dead District.

It's the brick building with the broken sign that says LSR. You can't miss it.

Not exactly inspiring, I know. But it's clean, and I'm licensed -- which is more than you can say for most doctors you can afford without insurance.

[A pause.]

Many strange things have been happening lately.

If you come to me, I won't ask questions.

[Strider hears the footsteps. He finishes what he's doing (putting a box on a high shelf) and turns to look the newcomer over.

His manner is guarded, but less terse than he was on the network.]

Well, friend. What seems to be the trouble?

[action]

[dorkytracksuit]

[He points to his face, his skin is very.. Yellow, almost like he has jaundice. He's quick to avert his gaze, he doesn't really do well with face to face interactions.]

My blood.

[action]

[elfstoned]

[Almost like jaundice, but not quite. Strider pulls a drawer open and takes out basic examination supplies -- a stethescope, and a thermometer. His manner is brisk, all business.]

Symptoms?

[He shakes his head.]

My blood, it's just yellow.

I don't, I don't think there's anything else, but, I don't know.

[action]

[elfstoned]

[A long pause, a very raised eyebrow. Then Strider's expression goes back to normal.]

I see. When's the last time you've had a checkup?

[action]

[dorkytracksuit]

[He shrugs.]

I dunno, a couple years ago? I haven't gone since this happened, anyway.

[He actually had an appointment, but he cancelled it when the police shot an innocent kid. :|;]

[action]

[elfstoned]

Then we'll take care of that now.

[He nods at a small table.]

Sit down, up there.

[action]

[dorkytracksuit]

[He sits down on the table, looking around the room a bit more as he does so, now that his nerves are starting to lessen.]

Do you work here by yourself?

[action]

[elfstoned]

Mostly.

[Strider pulls out a stethoscope and a pad of paper.]

Any preexisting medical conditions or allergies I should know about?
