two 王 video ○ taka candroid
[When the video starts, the camera is facing down towards a particularly non-descript carpet. While the camera isn't moving around a lot, it is shaking quite a bit, and a small, high-pitched noise accompanies it. It almost sounds like a bird is in the room, though the noise is more mechanical than animal. The noise continues near the camera for another few seconds before the camera moves up and over to a patio door, not showing much of the apartment its in on the way there.
Oddly enough, when the camera reaches the patio door, there's just enough reflection to see that it's a small, red and silver mechanical bird, who begins tapping its beak against the door as if to ask to be let outside. It hovers in front of the door, continuing to make the same mechanical caw.
In the background, there's a voice that only a handful of people on the Network might recognize, speaking in Japanese.]
"Stop recording."

Does yours look anything like mine?

[ There's a click to video on his phone, first displaying a blur of a hazel-eyed teen before it swivels to settle on this. ]
His name is Haro. Or that's what he told me.
[ Whirring, the robot pipes up: Told you! Told you! ]

I can't say I've seen anything like that.

Does your bird move around on its own?

That's right, I saw a reflection. He's trying to get out?

[He's still trying to cope with having something in his possession that seems to have a mind of its own.]
no subject
Maybe you should try following him.

Can you pretend you're controlling him? Like with a fake remote, or something. Even your phone could probably work. There's some pretty crazy stuff in public, so I bet a lot of people wouldn't even look twice.
[ Like the naked Free Hug cowboys who set up on the street corners with body paint and acoustic guitars. ]

[Wow, he'd never even considered something like that, but it's certainly a possibility. He'll add it to the list.]
Does yours do anything other than talk?
no subject
[ He pauses, somewhat heavily. ]
He's not the only robot I've remembered, though.
no subject
What sort of robots do you remember?
[Hey, look at Shuji being social for once.]

[ A shuffle on the line and there's the flip of papers, followed by him scrawling his network number on two sketches. One is a professional looking one, a rough technical drawing of a cockpit. The other... ]
I was its pilot.
no subject
That looks pretty big. Do you think it's real?
no subject
I didn't know what to think at first, if I'm being honest. But it wasn't me who drew that, it was someone else who remembered it before I did. I don't know what the odds are...

I've seen a few people who share similarities to things I've received, but I can't be sure it's connected.

I remember someone, but not what they look like. I don't know if they're here.

[He is really intent on keeping contact minimal with this whole Network thing...]
