How do you pick a hair dye? Because I need it and I'm not sure where to start or what to do.

Well, I'm not a bad person to ask, but really it depends on the hair. There's only so much that can be done with some colors without bleaching first, and that's its own can of worms. Might help to try it on small areas before the whole thing.

You have multiple mirrors, right? And you want to get your roots. Pin most of your hair up and apply just a little bit to a tiny part in the back, near the nape of your neck. When your hair's down someone would need eagle eyes to see that.

If it's light then you can get away with using some cheaper dyes but if it's dark then you may have to bleach it first! The lighter the color of hair you're dying over the easier it is to cover.

Are you trying to color your hair brown or black? Bleaching might get involved anyway, regardless on how sensitive your scalp is. You could look up tutorials on hair dying at YouTube to get the better idea on what to do.

Either that, or have a professional take care of your hair. I don't know, whichever you're more comfortable with.
