[ The last few days have been a little too much for Adrian to take and, uncharacteristically, he decides to communicate with the numbers community with video. After the last time he had tried to promise himself he wouldn't try this again but with no pulses to ward him off he felt safe to broadcast. The camera on his phone focuses on his face, he's casually dressed and when he speaks his new, pointy teeth are not hard to miss. He's outside, the sun is setting. ]

Hi everyone, sorry if my last video disturbed some of you. Not my intention, promise.

[ He motions to cross his heart with his free hand ]

Anyway, my "sorry" message here is that I'm out tonight. Anyone who wants a drink text me and I'll tell you where I am. I probably owe some people more than one.

So, [ He pauses a moment before managing a lopsided smile ] maybe I'll see some of you later.

Adrian is at one of the many so-called "indy" bars in Locke city, the walls are plastered with various posters of bands old and new; ranging from Pink Floyd to Florence and the Machine. He's found a grotty, cosy, little corner composed of an assortment of chairs around an old wooden table. He's in the largest, plushest of chairs; a red, leather armchair which dwarfs his slender figure. The table in front has a variety of messages carved into it and he seems fascinated with reading them as he sips on his beer.

Good to know you're all right. I would have offered help sooner, but I'm afraid I've been away from the network for several days.

[ He's still in the bar, but luckily the music isn't so loud that it drowns out his voice ]

It's alright, at least it was just some teeth.

I suppose a lot worse could've fallen out, [ he pauses before adding ] or off.

Some have been more unfortunate, yes.

Have you noticed any significant differences between them and your old teeth yet?

[ Using this medium has its uses at times. Adrian smiled broadly, showing his top row of teeth clearly. He had lost and "regrown" his canine teeth in just under twelve hours. The replacements were larger, broader but clearly much more pointed, when his jaw was closed (as it was in that smile) they extended down much further than any of his other teeth. ]

They're bigger and sharper.

[ He's not phased with answering the question whatsoever. He takes another swig of beer ]

I'm trying to think of any practical use for huge, pointy teeth.

[ There's Adrian, he's already had a few beers and although he's far from drunk he's definitely a lot more relaxed. He'd never normally communicate with video so freely ]

[ He gives a quick virtual tour from his seat ]

[ and there's a shot of a rather bright stage with some people in various leather clothing dancing and then you have Shou, smiling at the camera. He's all dolled up, looking much more feminine than usual.

The half-skirt over the leather pants helping with the image of course.]

[ As recluse and shy as Adrian was when in everyday society, give him a few beers and he opens up immensely. The sight of Shou dressed like that and in a place like that caused him to smile broadly and he chimed ]

Dressed like that?

How could I say no?

I couldn't find my sister's school uniform.

[ Yes, he still had it. She didn't want it back after he wore it the first time. She must know all about his dislike for normal underwear.

He finishes his drink and tosses a couple bills at the bartender before switching back to voice.]

Give me a couple minutes and I'll be there.

Like THAT'S the most disturbing thing any of us digits've had to look at.

[ Adrian's relaxed, a few drinks can do that to him. He's able to speak more freely now than usual ]

What horror films or gruesome things you've seen are up to you, but I thought what happened was pretty creepy.

Oh, yeah? [He snickers a bit - off he is!]

'Kay -- in that case, where's your transmission coming from?

I'm at a bar off the main street.

[ That probably should've offended Adrian, but it didn't. In fact, it made him chuckle ]

Sadly I don't have a single castle, can you believe that?

I guess there aren't really any castles around here, though. Might take some work.
