(2) Basic Security Protocol

OKAY, since to some of you this is not obvious, I'm going to list same basic security tips. These are ways we can make sure this network is not exposed, and so that no one's lives are put in danger from it.

  1. Do not post personal information on the network! Names, phone numbers that can be traced to you, anything like that!

  2. Do not TELL people about the network or talk about it when out and about in real life, we don't know who can be eyes and ears for the people in league with the chief.

  3. Do not save the contents of this network in any kind of physical location. Erase any remnants of it from whatever you're using to access it when you are done.

  4. Never keep or store your number ANYWHERE, especially not a place where people can find it or see it.

That's about all I can think of right now, but if someone else had some ideas they want to share I can amend the list.

[ Granted, he doesn't either. Figuring out where this logic came from isn't a top priority, it's just a gut feeling. ]

More in the sense that we didn't really consciously make the decision to know these numbers.

It can't just be some technology. But even knowing that, I don't know what to do about it.

Yeah. You're right.
