It's strange. No matter what, I can't seem to forget these numbers. But it doesn't look like anything I should recognize. Maybe if I look at them like this, something will make sense? Or maybe not. I don't know. I guess I could ask Clara.

YOU'RE NEW TO THE NUMBERS THING AREN'T YOU HEY
IT'S OUTRAGEOUS ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT
[what kind of god forsaken language is this; handwriting]
Squinting.
Squinting so hard.
...Think that's a... 'U'? Or is that a... ]
Could you write a little cleaner? [ Maybe she should have tacked on a please there, but she's not really... thinking. Just staring. ]
[Text > Audio, making it that much worse]
I CAN DO YOU ONE BETTER THAN THAT THESE NUMBERS ARE AMAZING
[And then...suddenly there is the voice of a loud, booming man coming out of the diary. Somehow.]
Hello there! IS THIS ANY BETTER?
[brb dying I mean still writing-- no. Nope nope nope]
It takes.
A full five minutes before a response shoots his way.
That might have involved her having to climb up off the floor. And pick up her chair. And spend a moment rubbing her sore hind end while looking at her diary incredulously... and maybe with a touch of fright. And... maybe looking around some, too, but the coast is clear... hopefully. Not so sure about outside this room.
Her handwriting might look a bit scraggly when she writes next. ] Not so loud! [ The last thing she needs is to have to explain why a manry man is shouting in her dorm. ]
[continuing to talk because this is all PERFECTLY NORMAL]
Oh! Sorry!
[This is the whisper of a man who is very much unused to whispering. For anyone else, it would be considered a fake stage whisper. For Arthur? It's the best he could do.]
But isn't this EXCITING?
[NEW FRIENDS NEW FRIENDS YAAAAY don't mind him.]
[NO IT ISN'T HOW ARE YOU EVEN DOING THAT]
[WHO CARES IT'S COOL]
[I GUESS IT IS I DUNNO STILL GETTING OVER THE "THERE'S A MAN HOLLERING OUT OF MY JOURNAL" THING]
[AT LEAST HE'S A NICE MAN]
[IF YOU MEAN NICE AND LOUD]
[THAT TOO]
[AND YOU JUST HAD TO MAKE THINGS WEIRDER]
[BUT WAVING FISH ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL REALLY]
[NO THEY AREN'T ARE YOU INSANE]
[PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE FISH BEHAVIOR]
[BRB BACKING AWAY SLOWLY]
[WAIT COME BACK THE FISH LIKE YOU]

i haven't really seen anyone question it yet.
like apparently there are bad guys out there, but i don't really know who they are or what they want or what they're doing that's considered so nefarious.
who's to say they didn't make this network to make us broadcast our shit so they can use it to whatever advantage they want??
but fuck if i know
i just found this network a few days ago.
and it subsequently got my ass grounded by my shitty dad, because apparently stealing the car to save people is grounding material.

a lot of words to digest in one go.
But they are also admittedly words she shares similar trains of thought to.
But maybe this person has got something to do with this network... thing, too.
Shion, stop being so paranoid.
Admittedly, all the thinking stops when there's mention of-- ]
You stole a car to do what? [ Save people? From what? Granted, she just came back there a week or two ago... ]

i never really got the details of what happened.
fuck, i didn't care.
there were people who needed some fucking help, so i helped them.
batta bing batta boom.

Well Alen or Alice; looks like we're going down the rabbit hole here with a lot of other people.
Welcome aboard.
[ Handwritten forever ]
You too, huh. [ Duh, Shion. ]
That makes four. Guess I'm not going crazy.
[ Typing Back Because He Can ]
Least we've got names out of the way.
Anyway, you probably are crazy. Sounds like the problem is that the world's about to go even crazier than all of us put together.
I'm still new to the whole fiasco, so I've got nothin' if you're looking for answers. Least for now. If one too many stories of any kind of taught me anything though, make sure you've got someone from the network here with you before you go investigate anything weird.
no subject
Well, I haven't heard about anything weird, but I do know there was an accident at the mines? Karson said he went to help them. [ She'll be nice enough to leave out the part about the grounding. And perhaps the part about her second guessing, too. ] I don't know how that could connect to this though. [ Okay, not quite. ]

If I turn up anything interesting, I can let you know.
