[open] You always wanted a visit, right?

Who: Feivel and/or Nat and YOU
What: Just opening doors from the ghost zone into places and then?????

Exploring the ghost zone is great. It's a weird and new place and a certain set of siblings is having a field trip. Most of the time, they're together, but sometimes they split up or one of them goes alone.

They peek out through almost all doors that they find, unless Nat's Force senses tell her that something bad is behind the door (and then sometimes Fe opens it anyway). Maybe they look out at a street where your character is just standing, but maybe they open a door right into their bedroom too, or something else entirely...

It is very strange, and still hard to swallow. For now Tony's tried to avoid over thinking it. He has a brother, and by some miracle fell into contact with him, the rest will make sense later. Maybe. At least he and Fe seem to be on the same page of getting to know each other first.

There's been a lot going on, the trouble with Cesar's doppelganger still hangs over him, but Fe doesn't want to know anything about that. Tokyo's a mess, everything is probably going to start going insane ... "As it does." He echoes in agreement, falling into step alongside Fe as he moves.

"Did you go to Tokyo?" He wanted to himself but couldn't - his parents still don't know exactly what is going on, but told him to return straight from school after things got worse around the world and it got harder to slip away.

"Yeah, city's a wreck. Did what I could to help pull people outta rubble. Think discussions are going alright to keep the military off of the thing that woke up," Still, things aren't looking good. They're looking chaotic, honestly.

"You stayed here, yeah?"

"My parents have grown a bit antsy about letting us out for longer stretches of time." It's not like he doesn't get why, but it still sucks. "And there's school, too.

You didn't get hurt?"

"Can't say that I blame them, 'specially with the giants that decided to duke it out around here. Giant bird, wasn't it? Anyway, I'm alright. Been through worse things than an evacuation mission. The creature just wanted to get into the bay anyway."

At least it didn't run around in a panic like Wise Snake had, man that had been a mess. Still, he understands why Fe's a little put out having to stay out of the action. He may not have a choice in the matter forever.

"They don't like the idea of you getting involved, do they? Did you tell them you're Numbered?"

"No. Nat hasn't either, I think." He falls quiet and frowns at the path before their feet, almost running into a passer-by and only dodging at the last moment.

"Though after she got injured and all, we might have to."

Tony just nods at the first bit, it isn't his place to really have an opinion on whether or not Fe and Nat should tell their folks. They'll find out eventually, more than likely, but he doesn't know their situation well enough to know if that would even be safe. Oops, you alright? Tony had hopped out of the way smoothly, just watching as the passer-by breezes past, huffing in annoyance at almost being run into.

At least he didn't freak out at them?

"Wait, she got injured? What happened?"

"Someone who looked exactly like her - we believe that it was her doppelgänger - attacked her. Quite likely with the intent of killing her. I came across them and tried to help, and she then tried to kill both of us, but we could defend ourselves. Not more, though, she got away and we'll have to be more careful now, I guess."

It's not the entire story of what bothers him, he remembered something about his former self that really freaked him out, but... He's not sure how to tell that Tony of all people.

"More of 'em? Damn, just when things were starting to calm down, too. She's safe, right? And you're alright?" He's concerned but he's trying not to be overbearing, Feivel's obviously okay or he wouldn't be here going on a London adventure. Still won't stop Tony from worrying, those copies are a real piece of work.

He's by no means a mind reader, but it's obvious something's bothering Fe quite a bit. "Somethin' on your mind?"

He tilts his head and pulls the fairly high collar of his shirt down to give Tony a brief glimpse of the bruises around his neck - he still doesn't know what exactly it was that the doppel used, "invisible fingers" sounds rather silly and he doesn't like it. "That was the extent of it for me, and Nat had her injuries looked at and will be fine, too." A shrug.

It's not what bothers him primarily about this, though. He's not entirely ready for that yet. "We both got echoes out of this. I know know how to fight with a sword."

He frowns deeply at the bruises, an instinctive part of him raising its hackles at the sight. His lips pull back in a bit of a snarl-grimace, but he says nothing of it. Fe seems pretty tough, of course he is he's his brother, but that doesn't stop the over-protective instincts from kicking in. It was probably a good thing he wasn't around for the event. There'd be a smear of doppelganger feathers to deal with. "Good, glad to hear it. So, that the telekinetic thing you were talking about?"

Now that's pretty interesting. "Do you? Well, if you feel like you want to practice, look me up sometime. I'm not half bad myself."

Yes. She," he searches for a way to describe it that doesn't sound like a bad fantasy book and gives up, "seemed to grab me around the neck with it - it felt like fingers, but much stronger than what a body her size should have been capable of. Certainly more lifting power than what she with her own body is probably capable of."

A smile flickers over his expression at the offer. "Sure." He wouldn't have so readily accepted such an offer from someone else, but a big brother is someone - well, it sounds like such things are okay from big brothers. Plus he'd really like to learn more about using a sword. "I can't tell how good he was with it."

"Scary," He rumbles, still frowning. That doesn't sound good at all, and it sounds increasingly dangerous to have her running around loose. "I wonder how you would counter something like that..." Tony no. 'Pick your battles' doesn't mean all of them.

He flashes a cheerful grin at the accepted offer. "Great! Later, of course." It'll be a good bonding experience? "Hey, that's what practice is for, right? Won't know until you try. With luck, maybe next round you'll give that copy what-for."

Clearly the best bonding is the one where you give each other bruises.

"There's a man in Locke - I am not quite certain, but I think that he is a double - who has offered to teach me how to fight without a weapon, since it is unlikely that I'll have it with me much." After all there are things to be said against a teenager lugging around a sword and those are all things that will be said, and he's still at the point where he would rather not be noticed much.

Of course, they're brothers, that's what brothers do isn't it?

"Oh yeah?" He's a little uncertain about a double doing it, so far they've been nothing but trouble. But then, it might be okay... "Just be careful, those doubles cause a lot of problems. But it might be a good idea to learn how to fight without a weapon. Might be able to spar with you there, too." For all he knows his own Other might have been good at it. Guy sure got into a lot of tight places.

"I am. He seems to accept that I can't get too badly hurt or my parents will learn, though." He shrugs a bit - it has surprising advantages to be limited that way. Makes dealing with doubles safer, apparently.

"Is there a fighting style that you can't do?" With a bit of a raised eyebrow.

If they're the type to care about that, at any rate. Of course that goes for people who aren't made out of feathers too. "Right, no smashing you through walls. And if he hurt you too much I'd have to kick his ass and no one wants that,"

He flashes a cheesy grin. It's true, he'd have to, that's part of the deal of having Tony as your brother, or hell even a friend. He looks out for you. At the question he shrugs. "Who knows? My other seems to have spent a hell of a lot of time fighting. I don't think he had a lot of choice in the matter."

"I can look after myself." Throwing a displeased glare at Tony. Sure, it is good to know that he has back-up if needed, but really. He knows how to take care of himself (....not really, but he thinks he does).

"What was he? A merchant?"

He puts his hands up in a gesture of surrender. "'Course you can, not questioning that. It's a matter of principle, we have to have each other's backs, right?" He knows the feeling, he really does, kid lived on the street for years and people still treated him like he needed looking after. (He did, but still, it was insulting).

He barks a laugh, shaking his head. "Good question, can't say I really get much of the picture yet but things tried to kill him a lot. From what little I do have to go on."

...Okay, he can accept that, that works. (His ego has grown a bit more fragile since he started looking younger than he is. It's hard being a teenager who was just so too young to be taken for full and then to go back and look even more like a child again.) "Right."

"...I don't know even that much about my other. Only a bit about his family." And about how he treated his family. ...Throwing a quick, furtive glance at Tony.

Tony's been there, and as such he'll try his best to not put Feivel in the same position. It may happen, but he's tactful enough to know where sore spots might be, and Fe's definitely shown him he doesn't like his ability to look after himself being questioned. It's alright, he's tough, he's his brother so of course he is. "Besides, I wouldn't actually go after a guy just because you got hurt during practice. Learning to take a hit is part of the process. Long as it wasn't an intentional thing." Then, then there might be hell to pay. Fe can take care of himself, but Tony's not leaving Fe without backup. He went far too long without having anyone to rely on, he'd never put his brother through that.

"That's right, you've got a lot of past-life relatives running around," He does notice the glance, and raises an eyebrow inquisitively. "Somethin' up?"

"...He had at least two brothers." That's clearly not all, but Feivel is just as clearly reluctant to share more. "Perhaps more, or sisters too, but that is the only ones whom I currently remember."

"Did he?" It is clear Fe's avoiding saying something, what precisely is impossible to tell of course. "Heh, just don't go after them and forget about me, huh? We just found each other." It was a half-joke, but there's a bit of genuine concern there. Tony's dreadfully insecure, and never sure if he really stands up to be worth anyone else's time. "Phew, guy sounds like he had a big family."

"Two brothers and seven sons, at least." He pauses, and fiddles with his next words - crosses his arms over his chest, tightly, in an almost defensive gesture before continuing. Tony deserves to know, if only in case that he becomes even more like Fëanáro. "...He didn't get along at least with the second brother. Enough to threaten him with a sword."

"Damn, busy guy," That's a lot of kids. How do you even deal with that many kids? The thought process is quickly interrupted by Fe's gestures, closing in and defending himself. His frown deepens but he doesn't interrupt, letting Fe get around to telling him on his own accord.

Oh, well that explains that. "Huh..." A pause, and he crosses his arms over his own chest. "Any idea why? Might be the brother did something to deserve it?" That didn't seem too awfully terrible, but then again he's coming from an other where violence and threats were a daily occurrence.
