[Tom had chosen to type the numbers into his nondescript smartphone, everyone getting a nice view of his face and the under furnished apartment behind him.]

Now, can someone tell me what exactly is going on? I'm looking back and I'm seeing people talking about monsters and the police and someone dying? Is this some local joke or something? One of those weird roleplay forum things? Viral marketing?

[Poor Tom looks so confused as his free hand toys with the scarf around his neck.]

First there's that light in the sky, then the numbers for this network pops into my head, and then I suddenly find out I'm wearing a scarf. Things have been pretty normal since then, I knew the east coast was weird, but I didn't think this weird.

I'm Thomas by the way, moved into Locke city back in March.

Text, video, even voice messaging works! There are a lot ways to communicate over the network. ( ^u^)

The statues, the police, and then the weird monster encounters... There was this one time, where my boss and I were attacked by those things. It was really scary! ( ;~;)

Tell me about it! I think I've heard there was a talking horse on the network. ...But so far, I've met a cat. I don't think the little fellow's able to talk, but it can access the network! What a cutie though~! ( 'u')

That's sort of weird. I've also heard there's someone who can talk to fish. It all makes getting a scarf sound like getting jipped.

If we knew what was going on, we would have posted the answers and put up as much bling as we could so no one can miss it.

As far as anyone knows, we've all had a weird experience, we gained visions or pulses or odd abilities and we can all talk through this network about what has happened. There also seems to be something happening around us, a kind of organization that thinks we may have stepped into something someone will want to kill us over.

Wait, kill us? Kill me?! All I did was see some weird lights in the sky and get a scarf! What the hell could I have done?

I dunno. Why would they want to kill any of us? We've got a horse and a cat and someone's pet ferret and there's kids and old people and none of us have done anything.

Except we're the only ones that can see weird stuff happening around here. Like that light or the dogmen or the weird little Cousin Itts. Weird stuff is happening and we're the only ones that somehow are seeing it.

What do you mean by a horse and all that? Is that what you got when your weird thing happened?

So they want us dead because we can see weird things and others can't. Nothing about us causing trouble just, we can see things. That's a horrible idea.

You haven't met Cinderella yet? She's an intelligent horse. There is also a talking cat and a ferret, though I haven't heard the ferret talk, only see it type.

Well, it might also be because those that want us dead had been asking about why are we getting in their way and telling us that if we do not withdraw our forces they will make sure we were dead. [he may not have talked directly to the strange person on that board, but he did read what he could]

[Thomas just a hand through his hair, a look of deep confusion and exasperation on his face.]

I doubt you're lying, I mean look at all the other things that are apparently true, but I think that's one thing I'll have to see for myself. Onto the "enemy" though, unless we have a name for them. Withdraw our forces? We aren't some kind of army, right?

It's like it's gone, you can't feel it or anything, but it doesn't really feel like it's gone...it's weird.

Yes to the horse, I have seen the cat, and someone else says they can talk to fish.
