Trying not to laugh - or cry - Winter shakes her head. "As long as they stop running the pictures of our doubles going to town in Vegas. I almost had a heart attack."

But she doesn't resist as Lily tugs her deeper into the pool, smiling softly even as she keeps blushing. "You're going to give me a really big head, dear... or I'm just going to pass out because all my blood's in my face. One or the the other. But I really needed to hear that. I..." Pushing forward, she lets herself lean against Lily. "I'll always be there for you. I haven't been the best at showing you how much I love you, lately. But I want you to know that you're always in my heart, and on my mind. No matter what." She laughs softly, feeling like she's got to be the luckiest girl in the world. Again. "The world's important, but... it doesn't mean anything to me if I don't have you to share it with. We'll be together forever, Lily. Until the end of time. In this life, and every life after it."

The idea brings her a lot of comfort, and without really thinking about it, her anxiety just sort of melts away. Even as she drifts into deeper water, she's never really concerned, and she isn't thinking about what others will say, what her scar looks like. Lily will take all those worries away, whenever they come up. She's sure of that, now.
