Who: Anthony Sparado, Hajime Aikawa, Chinen Shou, and NPC mcfirestarter
What: Cleaning up some loose ends.
Where: Downtown Locke, couple of areas likely
When: December 1st, late afternoon/evening
Warnings: Violence, death, probably profanity.

Text: [The hurriedly typed address of a small bookstore somewhere downtown.]

Got a bite. It's show time, hope you're hungry.

Action: After the sting at Espresso Yourself things had fallen quiet again. By now quiet was worrying, instead of signalling peace and a break from madness Tony had come to associate the quiet with an impending shitstorm. With luck, and a good bit of skill, maybe he'd be able to cut this one off before things got unbearably messy. That was the plan, anyway.

Shou's contacts had given Tony a lead or two, and that coupled with his own ever increasing hunter's instincts he'd finally tracked down his quarry: The modified human that had been made to look like him.

After shooting a quick text to the both of them (he couldn't give them more time as much as he would have liked to) he began to move in. Storm clouds rumbled ominously overhead, briefly distracting Tony. Something about all of this was weirdly familiar, and unsettling. He adjusted the sword on his shoulder, shoved aside the anticipation causing a funny knot in his gut, and began to move in. Now he knew he spotted the guy around there somewhere. He couldn't have gotten too far, could he?

As much as the demon would have liked to play further, its time was up. Demon energy was draining on a good day, and this certainly was far from a good day. All at once the shadows melted away to leave Tony staggering in their wake. He managed to take one wobbly step forward before promptly crashing face first on the street.

That couldn't be good for an open head wound, but mercifully he wasn't conscious to worry about that.

"I could hit him with the bike," Hajime pointed out to Luca. "That's how I like to solve most of life's problems." And before he could do anything like leave, Tony collapsed. The issue of what to do had solved itself. Hajime cut the bike's engine and looked back over his shoulder. "You can let go now." Because, really, having the thug clinging to him like that was awkward.

It was about time too. Shou breathed a huge sigh of relief and then double checked to make sure that Tony was still living and then checked his injuries. The head wound was frowned at before Shou sighed and ripped off a portion of his shirt to use as a make-shift bandage.

"At least it doesn't last long," he muttered and looked up at Hajime and the goon. "Okay, so first clinic and then we've gotta figure out what to do with that guy."

His fangs were still showing as he spoke, and there was a slightly crazy look in his eyes. Really. The goon was the only one that smelled close enough to prey around there at that moment.

One second, there was a terrifying monster... the next, a far more likely aftermath of a scrawny kid getting shot in the head. Luca still couldn't believe he'd managed to make that shot; he'd never hit anything he'd aimed it in his entire life.

Then the pale guy, the one who had been holding his own against the monster for quite some time now, rose the valid question of just what to do with the guy who had nevertheless fired that very destructive bullet.

"I don't wanna die," he says again, lower lip trembling. Up close, with all of the really terrifying stuff behind them all, it's easy to see that he's extremely young, maybe even slightly younger than Tony.

"Well, maybe you should have thought of that before going out and getting yourself turned into a lizard and shooting a guy!" Hajime feels he's just telling it like it is at this point. He was a very cranky Kamen Rider...and he still hadn't gotten a good look at the kid what with all the clinging on the rear of the bike.

He turned to Shou. "You want to load him on the bike, or do you need help?"

"I think you better get that kid out of here before I lose control too," Shou said, making sure the bandage was going to stay in place before he picked Tony up like he was carrying a passed out kid. Luckily for the both of them, Tony was still scrawny enough that Shou did not feel like his arms will fall out of his sockets.

"I'm getting hungry and I don't think lizard is on the menu."

"No more losing control. Seen enough 'losing control' already..." Luca muttered unhappily. "Especially not if you're gonna make me dinner. Don't want that. Veto the hell out of that, man... I didn't even mean to shoot him. I'm a bad shot, man, this is the first time I actually hit something I was aiming for."

Hajime sort of huffed in irritation at Luca's continued excuses, mostly because even he could see that the time for fighting had passed. "So, what, I dump him at the clinic? Pretty sure I broke some of his ribs." And he didn't even sound sorry about that, the jerk.

That whine wasn't helping the hunger, man. Shou looked at the lizard boy and then at Hajime, trying to focus on not going back to staring at the kid like he was a piece of steak.

"If you want. Though if you're scared the kid's gonna run for it, tell 'im that he just made the shit list on two sides of this war, and we're the ones that won't kill him just because he failed, so he better stay put until one of us picks him up tomorrow."

Luca was one whiny lizard boy, but when it didn't seem to be helping his case, he had no problem shutting right up. He gulped audibly, but didn't try to excuse his behavior further.

"Whatever you want..." he mumbled, wincing; his ribs really were killing him, especially now that the adrenaline rush was wearing off and the endorphins were seeping out of his system and leaving dull aches in their wake.

Hajime gives Shou a reluctant nod. "If you're sure...then I'll bring him to the clinic." And to Luca, he adds, "If you try to run, we'll hunt you down, and there is no place to hide." He revs the engine on the bike as he prepares to drive off. "I'm in tight with the Lord of the Bugmen. If you go anywhere in this city a roach can get to, he'll know and track you down in a heartbeat. And he'd do it, too. Dude owes me a favor."

"I'm sure. You don't put a piece of steak in front of a starving lion and tell that lion it can't eat."

Just get going already, Hajime. Shou was already heading towards the school, pondering whether to take to the roofs or just put Tony in his car and drive off. He at least had room in the car for an unconscious teen so long as said teen didn't demon out on him.

"I'm taking him home. We can meet up on the way there."

"Man, I'm not gonna try to run!" Luca insisted, on the verge of hysteria as he raised his green-tinged hands, wincing at the way it affected his damaged ribs. "Just... fuck, if Albero finds out where I am I'm in deep shit... man, uh, I don't know if it's a good idea."

"Alright." Hajime revved the engine of the bike and spun it around to leave. "I'll meet you there." And with that, he drove off, though he couldn't resist popping a wheelie as he did so, just to shake Luca up.

"Show off," he said, shaking his head as Hajime pops another wheelie. Then looking down at Tony, he sighed and shifted his grip a little before marching on to where he parked his car. Carry him was not an option any more, especially since he wasn't sure just how much damage the bullet did. He didn't want to scramble the brains even more than they had been.

Enjoy yourself some dead weight, Shou. Devil Trigger takes a lot out of Tony, he'll be good and quiet for a little while at least.
