News Report | Backdated to Friday the 14th
[On the Friday evening news (and on repeat much of Saturday), there is a huge story being covered. Alistair Freeman was allowed to film and interview one Randall Lyall on the full moon last week to get some answers regarding the stalking of the school by a strange creature. Here are just a few snippets of it]
Good evening, America. This is Alistair Freeman, bringing you an exclusive interview with a member of the group some claim to be responsible for the chaos and destruction that recently destroyed much of Las Vegas and Locke City, currently held in Locke City jail for his safety and the safety of others.
[Alistair clearly does not agree with this but whatever! His camera man turns to Lyall, who is half done with his transformation and fighting the rest of it. As he pans over, you might catch sight of the Lord of the Bugmen, but they're trying to keep him out of focus]
Mr. Lyall, thank you again for this chance to speak with you. Now, you said that you do not want us to film the majority of your change this evening as it is disturbing and may startle some viewers, so before we get to that, I'd like to ask you some questions.
[Alistair does exactly that, asking about his ability to shift, when he can shift, how life as a Numbered werewolf is going, and his experiences with the media. The main point of the interview is to show that Lyall could not be the stalker.]
[They only show a little of it, and it is obviously painful for poor Lyall. They are then quickly escorted out by the police when Lyall gets more violent]
[And it's over now. Lyall is covered and lying on the floor of the cell, healing and very exhausted. Alistair only allows his cameraman to get a quick look of him like that for effect before focusing it back on him.]
As you can see, those Numbered who are dangerous are very much aware of it and take every precaution to keep those around them safe. To do otherwise would be irresponsible. Dear Mr. Freeman,
First off, thanks so much for you kind words! We really don't know Mr. Lyall that much, but he's been going through some tough stuff. He needed something nice for a change!
That aside, if at all possible, we'd really appreciate it if you could discuss other abuse the Numbered community receives. Our daughter recently was recently attacked by some big meanies because of all their general awfulness. And that made us very upset. Especially since she's pretty much the best person around. Like, the best. There are many people in the world that are awesome, and although we haven't met everyone, she is undoubtably in the top three, along with two people we probably shouldn't talk about to a reporter.
Anyway, she is awesome and perfect and deserves so much better. We stole some candy to cheer her up, but that didn't really seem to work. Kinda made things worse, actually.
In any case, a lot of our good buddies keep getting hurt and we want to encourage less of that. Thank you for your assistance.

My name is Saretha Kaiser. If you've seen the broadcast from August that Mr. Lyall, and the recently departed Anthony Janvier, was apart of, I suppose you may recognize me. If you are looking to get in contact with more of us Numbered... I am, in turn, VERY interested in getting in contact with media who can get the word out about our actual intentions.

I believe a friend of mine in Vegas mentioned you. I would love to do more interviews with the Numbered, though at the moment it will have to be over email, Skype, or some other program. Locke City is dangerous for me, though it's nothing compared to how dangerous it is for you, and I do not want to risk going there any more than I have to.

Ah, good then. Glad to see that word does indeed travel among those with level heads.
I can work with whatever method you deem necessary - although I will note I haven't been spending much time in that city myself, either. For rather obvious reasons. Much harder to work when there are quite literally guns trained to your head.
