[Rakka looked down at the screen glumly, she was likely using her phone for this. Over her shoulder, a sign for the café she was evidently sitting outside of hung on a metal railing. On that metal railing was a crow, the black, feathery beast keeping an eye on the winged girl below.

Rakka herself looked exhausted, likely a side effect of both the time zone change and the booze the group of teens she was with had been going through. Right now though, she was musing over a cup of coffee.]

...It was my birthday, yesterday. [She mused sadly.] After everything that happened, I forgot about it.

[She tried to shrug it off, to smile and be there for others. But after having seen her friend get shot up, and subsequently leaving without a word to Germany, Rakka's spirits were low.

She took a slow sip from her coffee.] Everyone here is nice though. [Another sip and a frown.] ...I miss when it was like this in Locke City.

Well, they want us to look at the weird... thing that appeared around here, and the mayor of this town is letting us stay and help her investigate.

Hmm... [She thinks for a moment.] I think it would be okay. People here might like talking dogs!

[She doesn't sound upset about it, not in the state she's in here!]

It was probably a good thing Rakka wasn't as drunk as Emi. Or, maybe that made things worse.]

Crab monster happened. Then Raye got hurt and... [Well, her mood swiftly changes here.]

They tried t' get me and Arthur. [She nearly lost him, and she almost died too...]

[She'd give Emi a hug, but she's kind of behind her.]

I miss it too. I wonder if sentiments will change back, or it's just going to be like this.

I hope it changes. There's just been so much hate back there...

[She sighs, brushing some hair from her face.]

People keep getting hurt now.

I know. It's sad! I was in Locke for just about the longest I'd been anywhere. There are still people there I love. But, considering, it's probably safer for them that I'm not there.

[She'd seen too many people get hurt that her friends cared about.]

A few people I know have had that problem. It's horrible!
