[The Numbered have no protection under the law. Perhaps one day they will, but Emilia doubts it will be any moment soon.]

It can’t keep on like this. We have to do something.

[ As far as he’s concerned, Numbered are still people. But he’s part of them, so he supposes he has that perspective. Still, it seems ridiculous that people would consider them anything less than part of the law that should protect them from getting suspended and fired for no good reason. ]

What can we do? I know there's one girl trying to start a PR campaign.

Find someone who could help in legal matters. Which is most certainly easier said than done, but still worth a try.
