This ain't the Garden of Eden
Who: Julien and OPEN to friends (If you're wondering if he considers your character a friend, the answer is yes)
Where: Tony Stark's semiabandoned pad in Locke. (Permission was given by the mun who played his godson and 'inherited' the house)
What: Pool party, hangout, talking about things! Go on and mingle.
When: Backdated - Sunday the 27th.
There's a section of Locke given over to rich people's houses in the woods. This one is surrounded with concrete walls and has an angular, geometric-looking gate guarding access to its long driveway. Julien is operating it remotely and opens it without delay.
Much of the space between the walls and the house hasn't been maintained at all this year and is a field of tall grass and flowers, some wilting in the heat, with bushes and trees dotted about. Closer to the house is a volleyball net and the two swimming pools. In the shade near one of them is a table with drinks and mostly fruit-related snacks.
The house itself is aggressively modern and a massive show of wealth. Most of the many cats have been shut away for this - do not release them, there are a lot! Some still roam about or sleep on the furniture. Also roaming is a small army of modified Roombas, chirping and trundling about to the directions of the house computer. Tiny cameras are everywhere, but Julien has subverted the security systems completely.

And Blaine grinning up at her.] And what now?
no subject
[And she'll do her best to try and yank Blaine back into the water.
...Except she doesn't have a lot of weight to use against her. ...Or upper body strength.]
no subject
So what she will do is pretend to look relaxed and grin up at Robyn.]
And what is this?
no subject
Urgh! Grk-This!
no subject
[When Robyn has thoroughly brought herself to a point where all of her is directed towards the pool, Blaine will suddenly push herself up and throw both of them back into the water, aiming to push the other girl downwards again, hands on her shoulders towards the bottom of the pool.]
no subject
[Robyn can barely get another word out before she suddenly finds herself being thrust into the water again. Her grip will tighten onto Blaine now out of shock and surprise rather than playfully trying to force her under.
She'll keep holding on until they get near the bottom, at which point she'll let go and try to make a quick escape to the other side of the pool.]
no subject
And then shout over once Robyn is out of the water and has gathered herself:]
You should learn to defend yourself better!
no subject
Until the comment about her needing to learn how to defend herself comes up. That hits a rather recently developed soft spot and she looks down to the bottom of the pool in self conscious thought. She probably wouldn't have all those mostly faded bruises if she could have defended herself, she'd probably still be able to team up with Danny if she hadn't of gotten them both into that situation with the mob.
She'll shake try to shake those thoughts off and swim back over toward Blaine, she was here to enjoy herself with friends not think about mafia attacks.
Unfortunately for her with all the thinking she's been doing she's stopped running her mouth, which isn't something she normally does.
When she gets closer to Blaine, she'll throw another splash her way, but it's small and half hearted, lacking the energy she had a moment ago.]
no subject
[She ignores the splash, turning so she has one elbow on the side of the pool, leaning her head on her hand and looking at Robyn that way.]
You shut up. Why?
no subject
Me? shut up? Nah, I-I'd never do that. That's crazy talk.
[By the tone of her voice it's pretty obvious she isn't being too honest about that.]
no subject
Stop lying, and tell me why. Is it because you're weak and too dumb to do something about it?
no subject
N-No! It's not that at all. I-I was just thinking about something for a last week...
[She pauses nervously, she really didn't want to think about it much less talk about it.]
There... Well there we a bunch of mafia goons and well...
no subject
[Her eyes narrow as she leans forward a bit.]
Or was there more to it?
no subject
...Uhmm... Well there was more to it but well... You've basically got it there.
They used the fact I couldn't do anything to hurt one of my friends.
no subject
[She doesn't sound particularly interested, more like it's a light small talk topic while they're waiting in a line, or even derisive, but that's what you got to expect from her in cases like these... it says nothing about her actual levels of interest, and she's rather curious right now. And the old thought of "indebt people to you so you can call in favours should you need them" resurfaces as well...
And then Robyn has kind of caught her eye, but she's too young and she'll probably come across her too often on the network for it to be a good idea to hit on her, anyway. Too hard to drop the connection later.]no subject
[She paused nervously, watching her feet kick lightly in the water for a little.]
I-I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do. My aunt offered to teach me some stuff, but I'm not sure how well I'm going to be able to use that.
no subject
[She shrugs.]
Though it's still better when you don't require any equipment. Fighting with your hands and whatever you can get ahold of in an everyday situation is more useful. [...She's never taught those things. She never thought she ever would, but she finds that she wouldn't mind showing this one the ropes, at least a bit. It's been a while that she had a punching bag, and it'd mean that the girl would have to be grateful - that's totally it.]
no subject
[She huffs a little, but after a passing moment she'll just sigh.]
Yeah, that does sound a whole lot more useful to know right about now.
no subject
no subject
[Her eyes go a little wide in surprise at the offer, but her narrow into the smallest glare at that last part. She'll send another splash of water Blaine's way.]
I-I wont cry!
no subject
[She thinks for a moment.] The day after tomorrow I'm free all afternoon until seven. How about it?
no subject
The day after tomorrow? Yeah. Sure, I could do that.
no subject
...until then, stop it with that face. It's a beautiful day and all that, sun shining and such. Get yourself a drink.
[She gestures over to a low table where a couple of bottles are located, not all of the sodas. None of them paid for by Blaine.]
[ooc: Do we want to log one of the follow-up trainings?]
no subject
[Robyn considered that for a second and she did her best to smile before she pushed off the wall, swam up behind Blaine and made an attempt to climb up on her back again.]
Alright, take us over to table!
