[Surprisingly for anyone familiar with Alan's posts in the past, this one doesn't appear to be written in his sketchbook. His handwriting is looking unusually shaky and hurried, too.]

the mafia guys hit me too. my house burned down. Im going to need somewhere else to stay if anyones offering.

we cant allow this to keep going on. those fuckers are going down.

so why did you get a name like that. whats wrong with your parents.

They didn't name me, the mate of my mistress did.

ok so what do you mean by mistress.

She adopted me and now I live with her.

[It's nice! Except for the name, she's only been happy here (except for that she still feels really bad for accidentally throwing her mistress and her mate into the pond, and her mistress getting hurt in the process and also very sad and nervous. But there's not much that she can do except for trying to do nice things for her.

Like finding her more friends, maybe this person can be a friend to her too =D )

The nice lady in the shelter said that the person who would adopt me would be a very nice mistress or master, and she was right. The other lady talked about her as mommy, but I already had a mother! I just couldn't stay with her.

I'm a puppy now, but I'll be a big dog one day!

ok thats nice but is your mistress ok with having someone stay on her couch.

It is my couch too!

yeah you probably should. a lot of people arent too happy to have strangers pop out of nowhere to sleep on their couch.

[She's off to ask Siiri now, and after a while will add:]

She says that I should ask your name and how old you are.

my names Alan Hunter. Im 16. you should probably tell her that I used to be a fugitive and also that the mafia might be coming after me.

She says that you can come if you don't stay for too long, and don't bring a cat!

yeah that should be fine. I can probably find somewhere else to stay. and I dont have any pets.

And you have to be nice to mommy! But she's really nice and gives good cuddles and talks a lot, so you'll be fine.

Do you know where we live?

[There's a long pause because the word 'mommy' makes him kind of upset right now.]

yeah Ill be nice.

and I dont know where you live some directions would be good.

[Give her a moment and then...] Here!
