Who: Al and Hajime
What:Two tokusatsu characters facing another Monster of the Week Vermedi Encounter
Where: Outside of Aikawa's
When: Tuesday night
Warnings: idk it may end up like another episode of power rangers
[It's thirty minutes before closing time, and Al has one last task to do before he could return home. With a large black plastic bag on one hand, he opens the back door and walks out. He was asked to take out the trash tonight. Sounds easy enough, right?
But before he could toss today's trash in the dumpster, an odd, chirping noise caught his attention. He looked at his left, to where the chirping came from, and noticed--]
W-Wha...
[He couldn't finish what he was about to say. Just that thing's appearance itself was terrifying. It didn't help that it had to show up in the middle of the night, and while he's by himself too. The eeriness makes it even more unsettling for Al.
And then he notices the thing taking its first step.
Still rather terrified, Al subconsciously drops the bag and quickly moves back, only for him to let his back meet the wall's cold cement. What to do? What to do?]
Bo...Boss? H-Hey, Boss!

Bo...Boss? H-Hey, Boss!

Better not be a crackhead out in that alley...
[He figured Alata would be frightened of a crackhead out there; that made sense. Hajime stepped outside to check on things and wasn't expecting the small hairy thing that was lurking there, chirping at them.]
What the--
[Hajime trailed off in a bit of cursing in that weird language he'd picked up as he brandished the mop.]
Get behind me, Amagi!
[Yeah, that was a good idea. Get Al out of the way, then kill that thing using the mop. Good plan.]
no subject
Just... what is that thing, Boss?
[The hairy thing takes another step forward, slowly closing in.]

[He knows that the other people on the network had problems with weird black furry things, but this was certainly larger than what he'd expected. He tenses up and rushes at the thing with the mop. To his surprise, it grabs the mop, snapping the shaft in the process. He's thrown off balance and falls to the ground, opening up a gash on his left arm. The green blood's the least of his worries, because he's also feeling that weird hollow sensation again. The creature tosses the shaft back at him, and without even thinking about it, he rolls out of the way much more quickly than he would have been able to before. His arm's still bleeding, but at least he didn't get whacked in the face with a piece of mop.]

[Though he hasn't noticed the blood just yet, he can definitely see that his boss took the hit. Al drops down, until his bottom meets the cold cemented pavement, eyes widening from fright. He couldn't let himself move. It's just... just...
Al then notices the shaft lying on the ground, picking it up and looked at the small hairy monster. He should do something, maybe try to scare that thing away. But how? He saw how it took down Hajime so easily. Can he be a match for it...?
And he's just a guy with a broken plastic stick, fighting against it seemed impossible.]
no subject
[Hajime's trying to get back to his feet, but he's had the wind knocked out of him. The monster has frozen there, like it's debating what it wants to do next. He looks back at Alata.]
Get out of here, I've got this.
[He's picking up a broken bottle now, thinking maybe he can hit the monster with that. He's clearly favoring that injured arm, and neither he nor the monster has made a move yet.]
no subject
And then Al too felt a rather odd sensation. The same kind he felt twelve years ago. Again, just what was that...?
And without thinking, Al slightly raised the shaft on his hand, as if he's ready to strike the creature down with it. He has no idea what he's doing, and is rather afraid of what he'll do next. But something in his mind told him should do this, to help Hajime out and drive that thing away...]
no subject
[Al's too much of a goof to do this without hurting himself, at least in Hajime's mind. He's on his feet again, and that scraped arm is still bleeding. He'll hurl the broken bottle at the hairy thing, but he misses. The monster takes a couple of steps back. It's either preparing another attack, or perhaps it might leave soon?]
no subject
[Especially leaving him with that thing that's most likely capable of killing him. He grips the shaft tightly. He's still in his defensive stance, still on the monster's next move.]
no subject
[He makes a sudden lunge at the creature, and it darts away--right at Alata, right where Hajime didn't want it to go...]
no subject
Nope.
Instead, he raises the shaft, as if he were holding a sword. Once the creature comes close, Al without thinking, he quickly strikes it at the thing's chest. It's not enough to stab it through sure, but it's good enough to get the thing knocked away from him. He'll swing his weapon for a bit before going back to his defensive stance again.
It takes a moment for Al to realize what he has done.]
...W-Woah.
no subject
Hajime looks rather stunned. He's clutching the arm he scraped up, trying to prevent any green from dripping in the alley.]
Since when have you been able to do that?
no subject
I... Just now, I think.
[He has no idea he's able to do that really. However...]
But, y'know... It felt as if I've done this before.
[He'll swing the handle once again, as if he were trying to fend off something invisible. His movements aren't clumsy like before. Rather, every move and swing he makes is swift and precise. That's right. ...He's actually really good at it.
Once done, he'll just grin to himself.]
...This is so cool though!
no subject
That thing was probably lucky you couldn't find an actual sword...
[Al is, frankly, the last person Hajime would have expected to develop sudden sword skills. He's still somewhat stunned.]
no subject
I'd get in trouble if I were, though!
[He'll spot his boss clutching his arm. He still remembers the other is hurt at the moment. Al puts the shaft aside, and approaches Hajime with concern.]
Ah, you alright, Boss?
no subject
[Hajime's just going to hide that wound. It's very minor, nothing to see here, nothing to see...]
I'm fine. It's just a scratch.
[Something green just dripped on the ground. Looks like it came from the scrape he's covering up.]
no subject
But you're bleeding...!
[Even more concerned!!! Look Hajime, Al's approaching and is attempting to grab your arm!]
no subject
[Despite those awesome reflexes he's just acquired, Hajime's nerves win out, and Al is successful in grabbing that arm.]
no subject
[Now that he's holding his boss' arm, he goes to check how bad it is. ...And then he sees the green blood. That's uh... is that normal? Actually, no it's not. Green blood is not normal.
Well.
Cue the shock on Al's face.]
no subject
It...it changed. Back when those numbers first came into my head. You can't tell anyone.
no subject
[Al eyes at his boss' arm for a moment before averting. He could definitely tell his boss feels uncomfortable explaining about it. But Al can understand why. Having green blood seemed troublesome. Definitely unnatural too. Whatever's going on with the boss right now, he must be having a really rough time dealing with it. Plus, it's all the weird numbers' doing after all.
He'll nod at Hajime, taking his word for it.]
...I promise. I won't tell anyone at all. Not even your family. Not even Mitsuko.
[From the tone of his voice, and the look on his face, he definitely means what he's saying.]
no subject
...thank you.
[That sounded rather sincere, too.]
Are you all right? No injuries?
no subject
I'm okay! But uh...
[He'll just point at Hajime's bleeding arm. Shouldn't he get that patched up by now?]
no subject
[Hajime looks down at his arm and grimaces.]
We can patch it up out here.
