Is it very hard to get used to wearing contacts?

I do not want to upset anyone with my eyes, but I am not sure contact lenses would even work... Does anyone have experience with them?

I think my dad wore contacts once. I don't think he can offer any advice on them though.

I think my eyes upset my father, but I cannot ask my parents their advice on the matter. I do not need them for my vision so much as to cover them up.

My pupils have taken on a strange shape. Do you think that colored contacts might hide that?

i dont even have pupils anymore and its hard two tell w/o paying attention.

My cousin's friend wears contacts, Nadia. He told me once when I asked that it is odd at first but they are less trouble than wearing glasses.

I do wear glasses sometimes, mostly to see the board in school, but it does not help when I am speaking with someone and I meet their eyes.

I've worn them for a few years...for the exact reasons you're looking into them now.

The only thing I'd say against them is cosmetic lenses can sometimes hinder your eyesight a little. I have to wear glasses with mine when I'm working.

For years? I thought this only started recently...

I normally have to wear glasses when I am reading or in school already, so that wouldn't be a bother.

I can't honestly say whether it had to do with an echo or not since it happened my first year of college, but all the same, it's better the people I work with be jarred by as little as possible...

Putting them in and taking them out takes some practice. But you'll adjust. What helped me was to put drops in my eyes before putting them in. And once they were in, to close my eyes and move them until I started to adjust to the feeling of something strange being there.

Some cosplaying contacts will scratch up your eyes or the dyes used to color them will poison you. So you hafta be careful where you get them from.

depends- can you poke your eyeball? just, y'know, wash your hands and try sticking your finger in your eye. if you can't, it'll probably be a little hard.

you might have to train yourself with repeated eye-poking.

They are not black. Or catlike. They are actually pink flowers.

I have never poked myself in the eye before. My optometrist said I was too young for contacts.
