I have a question.

These "pulses" or "echoes," whatever you want to call them... have these things ever, uh.... glitched before? Particularly when it comes to memories. I've been told that I should remember things from my former life, but so far, I can't remember anything...and I don't know what that means.

Also, have echoes ever caused anyone to blackout, or behave strangely with no recollection that they ever did anything, or anything else unusual like that?

Nothing serious, thankfully. But some of the guests have complained, saying that I've been laughing at them, when I honestly don't remember doing any such thing.

Its happened frequently enough to be... worrisome.

Sometimes, a certain type of pulses takes a while to happen, and others come instead.

Do these blackouts happen often?

They happen often enough. They're brief, thankfully, nothing more than a few seconds, but its enough that several of my coworkers are concerned.

not yet, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it happens more often than people mention.

I never heard of an echo glitching before but it depends? What do you remember so far about your past life?

Maybe that could be why you can't remember anything yet?

I don't remember anything. At all. Nothing about any other life. Though there are people around here who claim to have known me in their former life.

Not that I'm aware of. Unless you count someone suddenly disappearing from a memory when they were there a few seconds before.

As for your other question, no on blacking out and yes on behaving strangely.

I'm not sure I like to use the word "glitched," but no, I can't remember anything like that happening. It's possible that you just haven't pulsed back a memory yet, though. There are a lot of different things you could end up with. I mean, I have a plushie and magic powers, but I could have remembered something from my past instead. Or the other way around. It's hard to say.

I can't say I know of anyone that's blacked out, or done things without remembering them later. That sounds very, very bad, and I'm not sure what to tell you if it's something that's happening to you. Are you thinking about something like "I was over here before, now I'm here and I don't know how I got here?"

Its more like, sometimes, when I'm having a conversation will look at me strange. Apparently, in the middle of a sentence, I'll start laughing like a maniac or making strange noises for a few moments, then I'll continue talking as if nothing happened. And I won't even know it happened until someone points it out.

What exactly did I do?

There are cases where the onset of old memories is delayed.

I seem to remember a case where a Numbered experienced extended periods of difficulty thinking, with possible memory problems, but I suspect it had more to do with the nature of their echoes than with the pulse phenomenon itself.

At that time, he thought such thing was impossible but it seems more and more likely what he suspected is true. I've had a memory that I can't connect to anything. Feels like it's important but hell if I know why.

I don't think I've heard of that yet. Describe the blackouts. When do they happen? Do you come to in the same location? Are the blackouts related to these strange behaviours?

They tend to happen randomly, with no real pattern to them. I'm not even aware that they happen, other people have to tell me about them. I've been told that sometimes I'll start making strange faces and noise, or I'll start laughing like a maniac out of nowhere. Sometimes, I'll even do it in the middle of a sentence, but continue on as if I hadn't been interrupted to begin with.
