I really need to find a new place. One with a bathtub. Let's just say showering has been inconvenient for a while. I'm sure some of you can relate.

Speaking of showering, last year they mess with the drinking water and it's pulse trap city, now the power keeps going out and we're getting Echoes from that. Whoever the real enemy is, they have a real fixation on the city's utilities. What's next, evil garbage trucks?

Apparently, Caren did have a heart. Even if the memory I just got was cutesy-ridiculous enough for a TV commercial with Sarah McLachlan singing over starving children. More importantly, I apparently had a way of going from an extremely cold ocean nowhere near human life to what looked like small-town Japan in less than a day. Do any of you remember teleporters?

The fact that we're getting these memories and changes, the network, and the enemies -- that in the first place is what's forcing us to fight. We've all learned by now what happens when you try to run away.

We don't necessarily have to fight, though. I've hardly done any.

Someone has to, and I'd rather not get killed for running and hiding.
