Third Bite [Action]
Who: Emilia, Dr. John Smith, Ariel
When: June 3rd
Where: The clinic near the Dead District
What: Getting a little something for her new diet
Getting to the clinic to begin with wasn't a problem, neither was getting a hold of Ariel.
By now, though, she was feeling weak, hungry and quite frankly couldn't wait to get this all started. Should Ariel join her, she'll find the vampire fidgeting outside the doors to it, and for some reason she's wearing sunglasses.
Having her eyes change to red had simply made her stand out as a numbered, so she wore sunglasses in case there were problems caused by them, that was the last thing she needed right now.

"Sorry I'm late! Traffic in this city is just getting ridiculous."

"Ah, you made it, that's what's important..."
no subject
"Yep! And I am ready for the blood letting." She had been drinking a lot of fluid to plump up her veins too. Not that she was particularly bad at giving blood, but this ordeal was a little nerve wracking.

No reason for the tow to stand about, so the teen will confidently lead her friend into the clinic proper. It's what one would expect, a sterile looking environment with a waiting room not far from the entrance...

Ariel follows her into the room, glancing around. The clinical environment was not off putting for once. It added a sort of normalcy to what they were doing, which Ariel felt was sorely needed.
And this would be a good point for Dr. John Smith to hop in.
Emilia didn't particularly like waiting around, but she checked to make sure the doctor was here. He probably won't take long.

"Emilia and Ariel, correct?" he says and holds out a hand. "I'm John Smith."
no subject
"Nice to meet you face to face," she said, shaking his hand in greeting.
no subject
"So shall we gt started then?"
no subject
"This way," he says and takes the lead.
This will be the strangest thing he's ever done in his line of work. And sometimes some very interesting cases pop up, so that says quite a lot.

For now, the vampiric girl follows...

"Please sit down on the bed, Ariel," he says as he shuts the door behind them.
(lost the notif oops)
Despite any misgivings about this, she stands by the door and simply waits for it all to start.
S'okay :3
"How much are you planning on taking anyway?"
no subject
"Have you ever donated blood?"
no subject
"I suppose this will be a learning experience, if she hasn't."
no subject
Ariel is starting to get a little nervous now. She doesn't have a thing against needles, but this whole experiment is out there.
no subject
"I don't know if that would matter. When donating blood you give about a pint. I won't take more than that. But I'll have to check your hemoglobin levels to determine if that's safe, as well as your temperature, blood pressure and pulse. All right?"
no subject
She relaxes a little, the doctor seemed to know what he was doing well enough.
"I think you'll be fine, Ariel. ...Weird that this is."

He holds her middle finger steady, cleans it with an alcohol wipe, and swiftly pricks it. The first drop he wipes off with a tissue, and a light squeeze forces more blood out. He collects that with the syringe, puts it gingerly to the side and unwraps a plaster, wrapping it around her finger.
