[Nora has pushed several tables in the ice cream parlor together and is sitting down enjoying a sundae. She has with her a list of super powers and a small stack of comic books. She waits until everyone else has gotten their tasty frozen treats before standing up like this was some kind of board meeting.]

Okay! Now we're ready to get started!

[It was important for everyone to get their ice cream first.]

I think we should begin with a classic. Super speed! Anyone remember being faster than a speeding bullet or able to outrun trains or something?

But you could do good stuff too. As long as you were careful and didn't use it to like, talk to your grandparents when they were kids or something...

Like going back and warning people about bad stuff before it happens. Like when that big snake attacked!

Why not? I bet a lot of people would like a heads up before something like that!

Because it's the past. You have to be careful about changing that.

But you'd only be changing the bad stuff! You wouldn't change good things, that'd be silly.

If I change one bad thing in the past, what stops that from changing the good things that followed it? It isnt that simple. You can’t just cut out the pieces you don’t like and think everything stays intact.
