The questions I have this time may be somewhat personal. No one is obliged to answer them, though I would appreciate it if you did.

-Has anyone attempted to document and explain the currently known echoed powers?

-Does anyone have a scientific explanation for how their own power works?

-Has anyone gotten an X-ray, catscan, or walked through a metal detector recently?

I've been trying to work through some theories about how the Numbered can connect to the network, and I don't have the equipment to run those tests on my own.

Did those X-rays show anything that wasn't supposed to be there?

Really? Do you think you could explain to me what exactly they showed and what the surprise was?

I've gone through every medical test they could throw at me, including x-rays, CAT scans and MRIs.

No idea how the powers work, probably just magic. As for documented powers, I've got a few on hand but nothing too much. Why?

Excellent. Were any of these done after you connected to the Network, and would any of those have been around your cranium?

Even if they weren't, did the results show the presence of anything unusual?

As for your question: Curiosity. I have a few hours free, and I'm using them to try to make headway on a few questions about the network and how the echoed powers are possible. Giving all the credit to 'magic' is useful in an immediate sense, but more detailed explanations could help more in the long run.

If it helps, I'm gonna take a big leap and say that Personas have something to do with survival instinct. That's the best guess I have.

Someone had been compiling notes on the various pulses but they went off network and I don't think anyone picked up the slack.

I enjoy learning more about the Numbered's pulses. If there is already an existing body of knowledge, then it would make more sense for me to add to that than to start anew, wouldn't it?

As for my last question: I'm trying to gather data to develop a theory about how we're all capable of accessing the network, and I don't have the equipment to scan myself.

I've found it. This may be the best anyone has to date.

I'm thinking that there may be a common physical or technological element inside of us that enables us to access the network. I can't say anything more specific until I have more data, and I don't have the equipment to gather this data on my own.

Consider looking at genetic factors as well. I've suspected that link for some time, although I haven't found anything more to confirm it.

Could stand to take more lessons. Can explain most of my physical changes as result of altered genes. Less familiar with Echoed technology, but might be able to explain general principles.

This is useful. As an aside, you have any idea how your genes were altered to begin with?

All occurred within week of encounter with Tiny's forces or snake statues. Presume they're some kind of mutagen.

I am working on finding out some scientific facts about the ghost skillset, but I needed to ask someone else to study it.

I've been walking through metal detectors.

Ghost skillset? Why do you need someone else to study it?

Have any of the metal detectors gone off unexpectedly?

I've only gotten 8 Echoes and about half of them are memories. So my skillset is limited, especially as I only know what one is, but it seems there's a number of others who may be that as well. I'm only mostly certain of mine because I've remembered the boy who confirmed it was a ghost skillset. Of the two of us, he's the one with more to study.
