Who: Dirk and Tony
When: backdated to the evening of the 9th
Where: Dirk's house, his bedroom specifically.
What: Tony got hit by a car and decided to give his bro Dirk a visit.
[It's sadly been quite a while since Dirk had seen Tony. The worry is there, it always is. With his parents being less than understandable about the whole Wise Snake incident a month ago, and everything else going on, Tony hasn't been allowed over for a while now. Not to mention the fact his parents haven't nearly gone out of town like they should have. They always do, now they seem set on sticking around and it's enough to drive the boy nuts.]
[This particular evening is one such evening that's about done just that. He's locked himself in his room, surfing the internet for arbitrary distractions. If not searching for a job (because he wants to find himself his own place asap), he's reading about something. Anything to keep his head cool as he tries to not let his own frustrations get the better of him.]
[With the temperature getting warmer, he's certainly left his window open, none the wiser to the unexpect, though very welcomed, visitor he's going to get. Though the condition he'll be in, isn't one that Dirk will find too favorable, at least.]

[Tony was tired, he missed Dirk, and he'd been hit by a car by a less than apologetic asshole. Really this was shaping up to be one of the worst days yet. He'd kept his distance out of respect for Dirk's parents, but right now he didn't give two hoots about that. Besides, he was starting to worry himself. He knew how Dirk was, how he'd think himself into a fit without anyone to ground him. While Tony didn't like to think himself that important, he did take responsibility for doing that. If not him, then who?]
[Bugger it. It was time for a visit, and since he couldn't use the front door, well Tony would just find a different way in. Dirk's window sat over the garage, with a little roof-ledge just beneath it. Getting to the ledge itself was just a matter of climbing a nearby tree and managing a bit of a tricky jump. Sure, with his hurt leg and various scrapes that was a little more challenging than normal, but Tony was pretty good at scaling unfriendly terrain. With a little thump, and a quiet tap at the window Dirk was greeted with Tony's idiot grin.]
[Scaled your house to visit you no big deal.]

[He nearly knocks his chair over getting to his feet, and makes his way over to the open window, pushing the screen up so that Tony can get himself in. Due to the dark, he doesn't really notice any bruises of scrapes yet.]
So, is house scaling a new hobby of yours? I hope you didn't pick up this skill doing something you shouldn't.
[It's more of a worried/playful jab than anything else. He knows Tony isn't a bad guy, he's his best friend, after all. He just needs to tease him a little, because wow has he missed him.]

[He was quick to scramble in, nearly tripping on his way over the window sill but he manages to make it look totally intentional no he's not clumsy at all.]
If you're suggesting I've been breaking and entering I'm hurt, I just like to take less conventional routes around the city sometimes that's all.
[He knew it was a joke, and his tone conveyed as much. How rude, Dirk. You know he's not like that. He'd brush himself off and try to look indignant but sitting on the floor was more comfortable so that's where he decided to stay.]
I see you're forgetting when a healthy bedtime is as usual.
[His own little teasing jab, with an edge of concern.]
no subject
I'm just making sure. I mean, without me there to harp on you, who knows what trouble you could be stumbling into.
[He raises an eyebrow at him staying on the floor like that, but doesn't really make a comment. But with that comment about his bedtime, he lets out an amused noise.]
I'm not forgetting.
[And with that said, he offers him a hand to help him get up. Get off the floor you dweeb.]
no subject
Man you wouldn't believe, I guess I'll keep you around a little longer.
[So nonchalant, it's not like he was the one to climb through the window or anything.]
Oh, so you're just ignoring it? Well alright.
[He wore an amused look, accepting the hand up though it was obvious that he was moving a little awkwardly and stiff. Just keeps getting himself hurt, this one.]
no subject
[He remarks with an amused tone. He ignores that next comment, because the stiffness of how Tony's moving definitely catches his attention, and his friendly expression falters as he watches him closely.]
Did you hurt yourself with your cat-like entrance into my room or something?
[But as he looks him over a bit more, he is starting to notice how rough Tony's looking... and his expression is falling more and more into that typical serious line-face of his.]
no subject
Ah, it's nothing serious, don't worry about it.
[Which really wasn't answering the question at all, and probably more telling than if he'd just told the truth.]
no subject
Tony.
[That's all he says. Because, it's all he needs to say, really.]
no subject
I... kinda got hit by a car earlier. Don't worry though I'm fine.
no subject
[He's not even sure how to feel at this time. Worry? Anger? Of course not necessarily angry with Tony. It's pretty damn hard to be.]
So you decided to climb my house instead of going to a--
[He stops himself, because he knows that's not an option. He knows how the homeless are treated there. Some staff are kind and respectable, but most aren't. Most will think they're faking it, or looking for some kind of fix and the like. He couldn't--he wouldn't ever want Tony to deal with such treatment. Letting out a deep sigh, he motions to his bed.]
Go lay down, I doubt being on your feet is going to do you any good. Do you know if you have any broken bones?
[If he did, climbing to Dirk's window must have been hard.]
no subject
[He'd rather deal with broken bones than torture and murder, thank you very much.]
I don't think so, think I might've pulled something but I can deal with that. The guy wasn't going very fast.
[He lucked out, or he rolled well, either way it could have been a lot worse. Or he had a fracture that he just hadn't noticed yet, either way he was more than happy to go curl up on Dirk's bed and just let out a weary sigh. Long day, long week, he was exhausted.]
no subject
Are you bleeding anywhere?
[Hopefully not internally. He watches him as he makes his way to his bed and lays down, before heading towards the door. Stopping just before it to hear the answer, though.]
no subject
Not anymore. I just got a few scrapes out of it is all.
[His cheek and his palm probably took the worst of it, though one of his knees wasn't in excellent shape.]
Where you off to?
