Connecting to IRC to just spit this stupid number out into the wild, untamed internet. Maybe that will get it out of my head.
This probably isn't going to accomplish anything. I might as well just say whatever stupid stuff floats through my brain.

Duo's lived almost his whole life in Locke City. He does volunteer work at the local soup kitchen with his parents occasionally, he's on the high school basketball team, and of course he can be found at school. It's entirely possible some of you know him already, if only in passing. But lately his normally happy-go-lucky attitude has seemed just a bit more intense than normal. Perhaps just a touch forced. Or maybe it's just your imagination.

Whatever it is, he's around town pretty much all the time. Say hi. Remind him of previous interactions. Let's handwave some CR into existence!

[Duo stared at the message for a solid minute without responding. Eventually he clicked on the link and perused the information within, but the whole time something was bothering him. Eventually he figured out what it was when he looked at the router.

The lights had stopped blinking a minute ago. He wasn't currently connected to the internet.

[ There's a girl all dressed down in red, trolling about the streets with a particularly nasty expression. A baseball bat is clutched tight in her hand—though fortunately not bloody—grinding against the asphalt as she works away at the gum in her mouth, trotting along. She seems a bit young to be out by herself, but anyone who so much as looks at her earns a fierce glare from her uncovered eye, effectively shutting off that train of thought immediately.

In her other hand is a suspiciously pink cellphone with a kitty keychain that doesn't really match the rest of her outfit, and only when she passes Duo does she bother to glance up from it. Particularly at his hair, which earns the snide comment of... ]
