Hello. My name is Lamont Alexander, lately of Oxfordshire.

I... cannot say I know whom it is that I address, and as such, I apologize if I in any way if I overstep my bounds by posting here. I don't wish to break some rule by it, only perhaps find some answers.

I am wondering what this form of communication might be? And who might use it? I hope that, should anyone be able to receive this transmission, we can speak as friends, and reduce the strangeness of all this.

So you've also been here not long?

Not long at all. Well, I mean I guess the number in my head years ago, but only checked it out a couple days ago.

I've lived here for a while, so I was around when the snake thing went down, but I wasn't actually mixed up enough in everything to fight it.

I'm glad to hear that. Apparently, many were wounded. It's a relief to hear that not everyone was harmed in such a tragedy.

Us 'newbies' as I've been called ought to stick together. Hopefully, to ensure the safety of many more the next time something like that happens.

Yeah, it was... pretty bad. [No one he knew personally died, but... there were some, definitely.]

I'm hoping something like that just doesn't happen again, but that's probably asking for too much. And I mean I'll try [he guesses] but I can't really do a hell of a lot of anything yet.

I can hardly imagine...

We can hope, and we can prepare. Both are wise, I'd think.

We're all capable of something. Even if it's only lending an ear, I think that's enough. After all; you've already done me a lot of good in just welcoming me.

[Pierce doesn't know how to reply to that, and it probably shows for a moment on his face.]
