[Michael has had his number for weeks and he's been testing it every now and then. Watching the Network had been something of a new past time because these were the guys that saved the city. Who wouldn't want to watch them talk? He just hadn't fully come to realize that he was actually part of it yet.

But, he was in need of their help now so he put on the feed. The fourteen year old looks into the camera not sure what to say at first. But deciding it was better to ask outright than to draw things out he'd ask.]

Excuse me! You're all the heroes that saved Locke City, right? Well I was wondering if I could ask for your help since your heroes and all.

[Aheming, he continues:]

You see my name's Michael and I'm looking for a man named Karl Aurion. Do any of you know who that is?

[That sigh. So judgmental. Karl watches the actions of ghostboy before sighing himself and returning to his prior position: face against table. Enjoy the muffled voice because raising a head while talking takes too much effort.]

[It's a good thing that was a voice response because if Danny had seen Karl face down on the table, he'd be simultaneously really amused and kind of freaked out.]

Nothing, nothing, I just--

[a pause, and then another sigh.]

I can't believe you have two kids.

I can't believe it myself, honestly.

[Is it obvious he still kinda thinks it's all a dream? Because he's really really hoping.]

Didn't you not even know you had any until a few months ago?

Voice. private

[flamberge]

I always knew about Lloyd; I just hadn't known he was alive.

I just--I don't get it. How does stuff like this keep happening to you?

Because bad life choices have my made life into a soap opera.

[Maybe the teeniest bit of annoyance bleeds into that. Soap opera lives make old men grumpy.]
