[closed] cue sticks and toothpicks
Who: Angeline & Louis
When: Sunday, March 30th, evening-ish.
Where: Louis' mansion
What: Angeline goes to show off her stuff and possibly induce an Echo or two in Louis. Louis does get his Echo, but not from her.
Warnings: tba!
Angeline's purpose for visiting Louis is, indeed, to induce an Echo or two, but the endeavor is sidelined by the newness of the grandiose mansion in which he lives.
Dark has since fallen, with the two of them enjoying a game of pool -- a first in Angeline's case. A maid(!?) is bringing a tray of sandwiches to them when another hurries in, encouraging everyone with exaggerated arm motions to move upstairs. A group of animated toothpicks -- the very same that have been annoying the city since yesterday -- are waltzing right through the openings in the gates thanks to their thin forms.
Angeline glances at the cell phone pressed up with her shoulder against the woman's ear. "Are you calling 911?"
"Yes, of course!"
Still holding onto a cue, Angeline steps forward, plucks the phone away from the woman, and ends the call.
