[TODAY EVERYONE IS TREATED TO A BEAUTIFUL VIDEO OF MATT WITH incredibly blue hair. He is relaxing at his desk and is completely serious looking.]

I am now a member of the cool hair club. If you wish to join, I will help with the dye. The drugstore down the street sells hair dye in blue, pink, purple, orange and green.

[He looks like he's going to say something else. Decides against it. Leans forward as if he's going to turn off the video.

Pauses. Leans back a little again. Looks kind of uncomfortable.]

Advice on not becoming a human sacrifice. Go. [And then he turns off the video feed.]

[She looks back up a bit, and nods.] No, I understand that, just... Loneliness at a time like that... I can understand how it feels, and it's not something I would wish on anyone. But... I wouldn't wish that upon my friends, either...

Ken told me his teammates found out what happened to him. He used his life essence to turn into a seal, and stop the world from ending.

So I guess my big problem is wondering what happens now that the seal is broken and what was sealed inside is in the city. And eleven years old.

[There's a beat, and it's just a little too long, before a dramatic sigh, trying to throw humor back into the situation.]

At least my echoes lean more and more toward helping me get a date. Social Links are pretty good at figuring out when you're saying the right thing.

[Lily takes notice of the feed changing to a private message, and sits back, listening. Intently, at that. Her face is... decidedly sullen after all that.]

[She shakes her head.]

No, of course not. I'd never. You've got good reason to keep it under wraps. There have been people on here that have been... overzealous in how they approached things they may perceive as a threat...

I heard. I think he can handle himself, but if something happens to him, it's my fault one way or another.

[She begins to open her mouth and counter that, but... no. Lily has people she feels responsible for too. Not just her own sister. So she can understand. She just nods, then.]

I understand completely. I'll keep it to myself, don't worry. And if I ever find anything I can do to help... I will. That's a promise.

[Even if he doesn't want to ask for it, she's damn sure going to offer it again, regardless.]

[Matt is responsible because a broken seal allowed Phillip freedom.

Minato and Pharos or Matt and Phillip, he has to acknowledge that something terrible happened between them in the past. He has to acknowledge that Phillip, Pharos, Ryoji, Nyx, Thanatos, whatever he was was sealed away--and now he's given freedom again. Matt's own existence gave him freedom, at least to the best of his knowledge, and so Matt is at fault if something happens to Phillip for being Pharosthanatosryojinyx(???).

Phillip didn't get a choice in who he was. And so Matt will take responsibility for him, for whatever he once was, because he refuses to see that fear and guilt on Phillip's face again. He won't let him pay for what echoes are turning him into.]

I appreciate it. But until I know more, I don't think anyone else can help.

Maybe not, but... it's there. And even if you just need to talk about anything... You know what, here-
