Well, to be frank I have no idea.

The pods are large enough to fit a person, though, and based on the fact that my "past self" blew up a continent once I'm not ruling out this is some sort of mad science thing.

Emission of dynamic H-waves in such a pattern that when they were converted back into dynamic D-waves, they interrupted the static D-wave structure of the landmass or a support structure thereof.

I didn't mention earlier, but the continent was floating.

I did find out how exactly it is my singing powers work, though, which is why I was asking for physicists - I'm not sure if the science is legitimate or not.

Well, the blatantly unexplained is one thing. This would pretty much be technobabble to most people, complete with terms that get nigh on zero results like Static Hymmnowave.

Almost guaranteed. I'm sure my body's been changed substantially, as well; I've been singing at frequencies very, very higher than people can hear.
